I'm garyu as kazuya right now. I've been playing Tekken for years, but I still can't consistently/on command do EWGF. I added a controller bind where I could do it with the shoulder buttons and it helps a little, but I still can't rapid fire them out like other Mishima players do. I want to get better but idk if I can if I can't get this down. And all I do is go to practice to get this technique down

He's got some crappy Tornado moves to play around with and his Heat Burst is unforgivably terrible for combos. He got better after they fixed the hitbox on d/f+1,d/f+2 but even so his Tornado options are generally stubby (he had a similar problem in 7 until they added b+2,1 in Season 3 that finally made his combos feel reasonably complete - and even then if you wanted really good damage you were still doing microdash stuff).

Getting 3,1 to connect after a double EWGF is such a crapshoot. This was before v1.04 where they fixed d/f+1,d/f+2 to pick up properly after a EWGFx2, b+2,2. Now just do that into 3,1~d/f, CD 3, I say.

Guys! Kazuya's combo damage is so much weaker from before, and it's almost always worse to do a conventional ender unless it brings your opponent to a wall. Instead, try ending combos with f4. Kazuya's greatest instances of strength is when you are knocked down and forced to eat his insanely rushdown wavedash mixup. The f4 (right splits kick) ender allows you to hit ff4 (demon steel pedal) from every option your opponent does guaranteed EXCEPT for "quick stand up" (holding up back from downed position). If they dont know this tech, congrats you've landed free damage and possibly re-knockdowned or counterhit your opponent. If they know this tech, then your 50-50 game continues with either ff4 catching every other option, or hellsweep catching that one singular option. Either way, the odds are entirely in your favor after you combo them and they're in that state.
