Since JFJ, you don't really see many laws leaning heavily into his back turned game. Glad these two are trying to bring it in to T8. That to me is(or at least should be) a trademark of American Law. Plus, all the spinning and twirling makes for an entertaining watch.

I think Lou was "counter fishing" a bit. I'm guilty of that. It's what people do when they're not confident in their ability to deal with the opp's pressure or approach the opp and control spacing.

You mean like just wait for them to make a mistake rather than actively trying to dominate?

It’s more like a fundamental strategy in fighting games, doesn’t say anything about your confidence necessarily

He was doing hop kicks and df2's at like 4 character width distances and getting whiff punished. I know personally, I've had a bad habit of doing such when under pressure, basically "hoping" to catch an opponent dashing in.

@@WBrizzle81 That’s not ch fishing lol that’s keepout. He got baited and whiff punished, it happens.

@@norf-kr6od law has better keep out tools like his magic 4. His parry game is strong as well.

Being one of Lou’s sparring partners, he was just getting knowledge checked and ninja was dictating the pace but I BS u not this match up has definitely made Lou better, when his mixup games gets on the level of ninja dude is going to be hell to fight

I hope Haze does more fights. You rarely see a dedicated Raven main.

Lou needs to work on combos that are simple yet reliable. Something that he can focus on other aspects of the match. Something like his spacing and positioning. Because he seems to be dropping them mostly when he's on a disadvantage.

It would be nice if i could just practice with a friend without a trash channel stealing all the matches to make it seem like anything other than that

It is skill idk what ur talking about u can tell this is Lou streets first real tekken and all he does is really play rank, his poking is terrible, mixups are bad , he has no movement skill, he doesnt side step or walk anything just hits back when he has no frame advantage and just outright no tekken iq u can tell he only plays rank
