I’m glad you speak for yourself. This trailer is so hype & has so many throwback to previous Tekken openings. At the risk of sounding pretentious, this trailer was made for the demographic of veteran Tekken players. The gameplay might have been made a bit more simplified for new entry players, but this trailer hits home & I feel like it accomplishes the directors goal. I don’t even play Eddy, but I was fking hyped.

Eddy was originaly and canonically only in 2 games Tekken 3 and Tekken 6. For T5 he was like a costume of Christie, Tekken tag and tag2 are not Canon and he wasn't in Tekken 7 until 2 years later when the fated retribution version was released on consoles, also he wasn't at tekken 4 too.

I was just saying that Eddy wasn't supposed to be in Tekken 7 at all, cuz devs thougth he wasn't used as much in Tekken 6 but they had to put it after so many requests and people request Christie more than eddy. Eddy was never to be in base roster after T3 but they had to add him cuz of people requesting
