So my question is less about, just doing a faster move after a block and more like, how do contested moves work against each other? Like, an opponent is running at me, and I throw out a move and they throw out a move, or we're spaced apart and I'll start to throw out a move and they do a quicker 13f kick or something. Sometimes I feel like my character hasn't even extended themselves yet, or they're still in startup and I'll get hit from Range 4 which would normally whiff. Also, can i punish during the active frames of an opponents moves? Are there recovery frames I should be aiming for? Are hitboxes active for a standard amount of time? Can I hit into an opponents hitbox without stuffing myself? Specifically talking about doing moves like B4 on Claudio

Question how do you get the cpu to block after you record a something? they don't block after i start play

yea just slight walk back and that will make them block if you miss the timing!
