Having to wait over a year for a proper balance patch is CRAZY!

You're acting as if we haven't had any significant balance patches already, which is downright false. It's easy to forget how busted the game was when it came out but vanilla Tekken 8 vs current Tekken 8 is a night and day difference and you would never want to go back. Also it isn't unusual for a fighting game to get a significant balance patch/overhaul for season 2, it's kind of expected really. The annoying part was waiting so long between each patch, hopefully they'll be better about that going forward, the patch for Clive was appropriately fast so let's hope for more of that.

@@CaptainScarLegYou're acting as if we have.... No we truly have not had massive or 'significant' balance patches. If it takes 4 consecutive patches to Nerf drag and he's still a monster that is indicative of poor maintenance of your game. Much of the complaints that are well warranted have been in place since launch and nothing has changed. They have hardly done much of anything in regardless to balance.

It's not easy balancing a fighting game and this one is VERY well balanced. Y'all complain about anything and everything. No way to please you. Not to be an elitist, but what's your rank? I've come to find that the loudest voices for nerfs are purple ranks that never learned a matchup in their lives

What we need is TAA alternatives and unlocked fps, better netcode, mandatory PC benchmark at the very least for ranked, lag switch and [better] ragequit/plug protection, more optimization and crash fix for PC, etc. All this art and dlc should come AFTER the game is fixed and up to 2025 standards. But fgc is so far stuck in the past that they just take sloppy seconds and smile without a single complaint. I'm annoyed how low you guys' standards are. Its like they reached the absolute bare minimum standard of like year 2000 [of regular games] and everyone's in fgc is like 'yeah looks good to me'. Except that were in 2025 by now. They picked the negatives of 2025 like forced TAA (which is unfathomable for me), just fyi if anyone isn't aware - it simply makes everything look blurry during *any* motion, which obviously in a fighting game is ALWAYS. It makes for nice screenshots and nothing else, at the expense of gameplay. It has no right to be in a competitive game. As well as stuff like battle passes and such. But then they ignored all the good parts of modern gaming like the fact that we no longer are limited to 60hz and in fact modern displays can't and will never look sharp in motion at 60fps, unlike those old CRTs. So we have both low fps (that looks blurry on modern displays) AND forced blurry TAA. Amazing. And no one's talking about it. P.s. before someone once again says its not possible to unlock fps - theres a mod by a single guy that does it already..

I’m pretty sure they can unlock frames with the new technology and stuff but modders did this in Tekken 7 and realized that everything moves faster if it’s higher then 60FPS so as of now I think they’ll just keep it locked at 60FPS

@RuTo94 not only everything works perfectly without any issues [with the mod], but even crossplay works. Days of linking logic to framerate is long gone, like decades ago gone. These days all engines come with logic and rendering pipeline detached for obvious reasons, if you had 500fps in counter strike and you shot bullets faster than a guy with 60fps then it wouldn't make sense. Well guess what, theres no reason to still lock [rendering pipeline] 60fps other than 'its been done that that way in the past', it's a japanese mentality that's holding us back, not technology. You can easily have 60hz logic tickrate (for compatibility with frame data etc) and then have unlinked (unlocked) fps, even fluctuating fps. It's very very japanese corpo way of doing things, they hate changing anything. They didn't wanna do rollback until they realized they'd go bankrupt if they didnt. And rollback is infinitely harder to do than just unlocking fps and settings interpolation between keyframes:on. The problem is that we shouldn't need a dude to mod a game, and then us run unsigned closed source code that does who knows what, just to experience the game how it's supposed to be played in year 2025. To anyone that still thinks 60fps is fine - you are not forced to move on - just keep doing it, but not everyone is like you. unlocked fps doesn't mean you're forced to play above 60+. It just means more options for those who do. I'm sorry, but I have higher expectations for games these days. 60 just isn't good enough. I'd rather not play the genre and wait another decade, just how I did when I waited for rollback. There are so many games these days, why would I take sloppy seconds when there's a whole buffet right next door?
