Why are kazuya and lee not in tekken 3?

Kazuya and the Devil is gone. Except when Heihachi beat Kazuya and beat Devil in tekken 2 and ending scene throw Kazuya into volcano remember. Kazama is like father in tekken 3 Kazuya cannot in play Character. Kazuya is back in tekken 4 with a Devil and cannot transform same with Lee too. I don't know about Lee

The reason why Kazuya and Lee we're not in Tekken 3 is because Kazuya was thrown to the volcano by his father Heihachi during the event of Tekken 2 and Lee was banished from the Mishima Zaibatsu after he betray Heihachi and join Kazuya in the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2
