Jin also thought he had a decent grandfather for a time and he got a bullet to the head as a reward. Reina is just a tool for Heihachi,she will see the truth eventually,when she gets disposed off a cliff once she is no longer of use, hopefully then she will develop as a person And what shows him being decent? He tell her to fight the moment he sees her and he outright says she is just part of his plan Heihachi only loves Kuma,after Kazumi he can't love humans.

uh so whats its looking like so in tk7 kazuya clearly barely had the edge over heihachi even with full control of devil gene so heihachi returns, reina gets devil gene, kazuya and jin no longer have devil genes, and nobody else is strong enough to stop both heihachi and reina so kazuya and jin will team up to fight them both lol cause neither of them cant stop them alone its quite obvious, cause clearly they're only ones who could stop them both cause they atleast have mishima style sooo.... tekken tag 3 becomes a canon game with jin + kazuya vs heihachi + reina? the story is kinda in the gutter now, but itd atleast be interesting to see kazuya and jin try to cooperate and hey atleast on the brightside, kazuya gets to have some of juns cake again

The best revelation from the DLC storyline was the reading of the timeline on the side of the screen when you find out Heihachi let one member of the Hachijo clan live as a little girl…who happens to be Reina. it isn’t even his kid, so even more likely she’s a tool. He’s doing with her what he did with Jin. Let’s see if that changes, but I’m not optimistic.
