Nope. He's far more unreliable than the top 5. Nina, Drag, Jin, Yoshi, Alissa. Are all far better and have amazing lows. Clive meanwhile has poor lows. They're not threatening. Doesn't have a throw game. Does have strong mids and decent highs, but that's not enough to carry you through high level tier play.

Fun fact, Zantetsuken first appearence was in FF3, but because the combat designer of FFXVI is the same as DMC 5, and since Clive has the power of Odin, which is the eikon that has the Zantetsuken, they decided to put this animation of the Judgment Cut End :)

Hard to say, Steve is probably top 2 up close along with Feng so it's not a great match up to judge. His close game certainly isn't weak though.

I feel like as a Victor main, I can see a lot of weaknesses in stance transitions and side stepping certain moves. Looks like ice projectile is easy sidesteppable.
