Tekla Open API: Creating your first Hello World application

Thanks for this video. I'm a Tekla Structures user and I would rate myself rather advanced than intermediate user. I know nothing about Tekla Open API and actually nothing about programming but I'd really love to learn creating own plug-ins for Tekla. What would you say, what kind of basic knowledge I must have first to be able to start learning building own plug-ins with Tekla API? Thanks.

Can you please tell me if there is a mechanism to export drawings to dwg or dxf format using C# code? I have no problems with the print operation, but I have not found any documentation on exporting. thank you

This seems doesn't look to be updated in the latest versions. The VB2022 is showing not compatible tekla V2023. Can you please send us link the works?

i to got the error but is installed tekla structures and tekla data types and tekla model from the package manager it runs fine

Hi have a good day. I want to information about points properties. Example we draw in model 10 or 15 points in any location so now we need to make report same like material assembly list so how we can get x y z in any format. please can you help me did you have any template letter to point properties.

Hi you, i have error as below: Microsoft Visual Studio X Visual Studio cannot start debugging because the debug target 'C:\Users\Admin\sou roe epos\\MndowsFormsApp3\\MndowsFormsA pp3\bin\x64\Debug\\MndowsFormsApp3.exe' is missing. Please build the project and retry. or set the OutputPath and AssemblyName properties appropriately to point at the correct location for the target assembly. could you help me how to fix? Thanks

I've made same steeps, but when run: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: 'Could not load file or assembly 'Tekla.Structures.Model, Version=2018.1.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=2f04dbe497b71114' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.' Does anyone helps?

you need install TeklaOpenAPI version the same with Tekla Structures version. Can you try on with other version
