I've owned a couple T2 machines and it's one of the best coin shooters there is. For me four tone mode was the best and if you get a high tone in that mode almost a guarantee there's a coin hiding in the junk. The discrimination knob has a couple different breakpoints you need to know about and there's a lot of videos online about it. No doubt that's the reason you found that nickel again because of the great separation abilities of that machine.

Nice! The t2 is a pretty good machine! I really like first texas stuff. Can't wait to see your future videos with the t2. They do make an arm strap for it that can be purchased separately. It loops around the wings to provide the strap over top. Great video!

You will be surprised how you don't need a arm strap and it's balanced very good 👍

I’ve put MANY MANY hours on a t2 LTD. You will find that sensitivity doesn’t need to be over 80 really ever. 60 will suffice most times. The lower the tone count the deeper it goes. Boost Process at 60-80 sens is incredibly deep. I’ve dug civil war bullets at 14-15” in mild soil. 3-4 tone will be your friend in a park. Always run disc 0. Let the tones do the work. Tones are tied to depth. 1 =deepest ( you must have disc at 38-40) Delta= shallowest. The F75 was a better equipped machine overall. It had the tones separate from the process. If you really want a stallion of a machine, try the f70/patriot. It is the most powerful machine I’ve used. The problem is that power is hard to learn. Those are all good machines especially for relic hunting, but the XP machines, Nokta, and Minelabs have over came them in separation, ID, stability, and versatility. I may grab an f75 of fisher doesn’t do something else. The t2 f75 may be the most ergonomic machines ever made, with the exception of the DEUS perhaps. Pretty equal in my book. If you ever hunt iron patches nothing touches a D1/D2. The Legend/triple score and the Manticore/elite are right there though. Manticore is a monster.

Thanks for this info...Iv'e only had it out in my own yard so far..So your saying run 0 disc if i'm in 3 or 4 tone and run 38 to 40 disc if im in 1 tone?

@@WeirdGuyInPark yes that’s right. 0 disc is important because it keeps the machine opened up. Of course in 1 tone you need the disc to be your tone break essentially. So, iron will be muted at 40 and anything over that is non ferrous. The t2 is technically deepest at that tone selection, aside from boost process. But really I’ve dug many coins in the 8-10” range using 3 tone. And dang it I just ordered an f75+😅. I have a couple old videos on my channel of the t2. Check em out if you’d like. For the hunting I see in your videos, 3/4 tone will be your friend. Sens no more than 85 or even lower is just fine.

T2 is still a good detector, even here in European conditions, very good for our small silver hammered coins, DP is not as deep as 1+/2+ tones and so very sparky in iron junk, Boost mode in all metal mode is a beast for depth ;-) , also is necessary to work with hum/treshold level is connectec with power of detector also in discrimination mode
