Well done! Some 50 years ago steam entusiasts tried to build a steam powered moped. It worked but the boiler capacity was not at all enough. Being the fireman on veteran steam locos I miss the coal and shoveling..... Joking!

The advantages of steam engines are the same as with electric engines. They can start by themselfe and they have their highes torque at zero revolutions per minute. I personally would prefer a faster running 3 cylinder steam motor. It is also convenient to use a modern boiler to generate superheated steam and keep the water in a closed cycle with recondensation. The German ZEE03 steam motor from the early 2000s was such an engine operating with 900 °C superheated steam at a COP of 45% at 35 kW of power and a closed water cycle with just a liquid content of 0.25 liters, which runs several dozend times through the complete cycle per second. It was intended to substitute Diesel engines in compact Skoda cars. Skoda (now belonging to VW-Audi) started their car manufacturing in Mlada Boleslav in the early 20th century with steam engine driven trucks.

Nah. Anything containing hydrogen and carbon can be pressure-cooked into oil at reasonable efficiency. It's only like 10% more expensive than drilling it out of the ground. And internal combustion is a lot more efficient than external combustion unless you get into things way more exotic than steam for your expansion medium.

A home made steam powered motorcycle! Wow! What could possibly go wrong? Err, apart from a boiler explosion scattering your love spuds over a wide area. Also there seems to be a shortage of suspension components - just a few springs under the seat. A pothole would throw him off the bike and present further risk to the wedding tackle as the spiked rear tyre rolled over him. Still, you have to admire the ingenuity of the guy. The location looks a bit Russian so this may be the only option to acquire personal transport. I can't see this working in the UK. The MOT testing station are VERY unlikely to give it a "pass" certificate.

It's art. It's off road. It's a toy. He's not presenting it as any kind of alternitive motoring. It's a hobby and he knows the risks and has built in failsafes and gauges. Cyclists take bigger risks in traffic. He's just riding it slowly around a disused industrial estate. He's not going to be selling it to the public. It's just Art, it's called Steam punk and he's taken it to the extreme. What other people fake he made work for his and our amusement.

Great invention, it consumes less gas than an injection equivalent. That is to say if we burn the gas directly in a cylinder. LPG way with spark plug ect. Too bad there is no room for a wood boiler. This would make her completely independent.

That seems unlikely. Steam engine efficiency rarely beats internal combustion at the same engine size. And LPG is 110 octane, so you can run a crazy amount of boost so you can have a tiny engine for efficiency and still have big power when you need it.

This shows what can be done with knowledge and deturmination. Moving steam engines has its own issues. Moving a steam engine this small involves 2 major safety concerns unintentianal release of fuel and unintentional release of steam. It looks like a water tube boiler option has been chosen in order to minimise size but this option also is more dificult to control since it can go superheated very very easily. Gas chosen as the fuel in order to mainatain lightness and energy concentration. Its a very dangerous machine but nevertheless very very interesting. I would have chosen small bore hydraulic steel pipe instead of copper because it will hold the pressure more reliably and you can thread it and tig weld it because it is very thick walled and seamless.
