Very nice! I do not belong to this field. But I fully fallowed this event. I picked the function of bridge rectifier along with the filtration function of a polar capiceter. I already know about the base, emeter and collecter. Use of connecters is a good idea. Interesting and informative. Thanks!

Before 2 month,I have made 24V 3A power supply with 2n3055 ,It works and I have also checked it on Oscilloscope to see noise It is absolutely noiseless and most of the current amost all passes through 2n3055. 0.5V drops across Transistor and get 23.5V . I m using this supply for my DIY cutting saw

Very well demonstrated. After applying full load, with another multimeter, the output voltage could have been shown. There by implying that output is constant.

When making a regulated power supply, the regulated voltage should be slightly higher than the required voltage. Otherwise it won't get 12v. Also 0.7voltage drop in diode should be considered. good video Sir

This is an excellent presentation. The simple flow of narration (with no-nonsense talks as in most Utube videos) is interesting to hear. Found the experiment very worthy and thought-provoking. In my opinion, you do not have to get back to the old version of showing circuit connection step by step. This is not necessary after the crystal clear diagrammatic illustration you have shown. Keep it up, my friend. We need authentic videos like this. 1. I have a proposal. Can we move beyond and complete this assembly of components by adding a knob or two so that voltage or current or both could be regulated with a volt amp meter display? 2. My suggestion: How about adding an LED on the PCB so that the input alert can be signaled and getting a shock could be avoided. Looking forward to your future videos.

For L E D connection, attache the longer ( positive) leg of led to the positive output terminal through 1 kilo ohm resistor and then connect the smaller leg ( negative ) of led to the negative output terminal . Thais all . When supply is given to this circuit, L E D will glow .

Well mounted and explained, but there is a better application, without any loss of regulation, using a 2N3055 PNP equivalent (MJ2955) and a emissor-base resistor as current sensor connected at 7812's Vin.

Sir, aapke circuit ideas bahut practical hote hain. Sir jaisa ki market mein bldc ceiling fan ka chalan hai, but problem hai ki ye ek number pe bhi kaafi tez chalte hain, jis-se raat mein fan chala sona mushkil hota hai, orient company mein problem jyada hai, solution samjhaye. Please

Transistor ke base mein koi resistor nahi hai. Kya isse koi problem hoga ya voltage regulator mein load padega jab high current draw karenge upto 5 amps ?

भाईसाहब....नमस्कार जी। आपका पावर सप्लाई के बारे मे विडियो बोहत अच्छा और ज्ञानवर्धक जानकारी वाला रहा है।....आपको बोहोत-बोहोत धन्यवाद करते हुए प्रणाम। 13volt और 20 amp या 40Amp फिक्स आउटपुट लेनेके के लिए क्या-क्या कंपोनेंट चेंज करने पड़ेंगे क्योंकि 12.6v की लीथियम आयन बैटरी चाजॅ करने लिए सोलर पेंनल पे लगाना है (जो सोलर पेंनल 18v से 22v निकालती है उस वोल्टेज को कंट्रोल किया जा सके...तो आप सोल्यूशन बताये )....Reply plz....Ⓜ

The reason why your voltage is showing 11.45V is that you chose a 12VAC transformer, 12VAC is rms and converted to peak voltage is = 12*1.414=16.97V(at secondary side), now the peak voltage goes through the bridge rectifier and BR output is gonna be = (2x16.97)/pi =10.81V, 10.81V is the dc input voltage your regulator is gonna get and lm7812 minimum input voltage should be 14.5V and max 18V to work properly. your voltage will drop more as you attach high load on output and the circuit will work inefficiently.
