V2L and V2G is a big one! I think Tesla embraces the fact people use these vehicles for recreational use, such as camping but won’t allow V2L. If they emit this, I suspect it will be a HUGE mistake

I find it hard to believe they’re not launching the battery with the new design, I bet it comes equipped with it. If the car is not equipped it would be a massive let down for owners the scoop it up at launch, and then release a completely new designed battery 4 months later.

That’s typically how Tesla rolls, we just adapt to it. In this case since they’re relying on third party vendors, it’s up to their timeline rather than teslas’

naha .. no stalks… no pedals… no driver screen … .. the fun part is that after clamoring that 80% of all rides are 1 or 2 pax, they throw in a back screen that kids have to fight over (in the age of $200 second hand ipads) and still refuse to give the crummiest of small screen for drivers to see their speed more conveniently … go figure

Place an order for a used Y for best value. I’d even go for the S Plaid (about $19k more at about 50k), has air suspension, better performance and range. I’ve found used MY’s from Tesla with warranty for $31k

@heyJohnEe yes, I'm looking forward to that also John, but it seems strange that Tesla hasn't confirmed or denied Q as far as I know, and I believe the new platforms are several years away, likely even after cybercab is produced as it's the current priority along with true FSD approval and release

Now that there’s huge competition in China for better EVs at cheaper price points I think Tesla needs to ship these asap otherwise face companies like BYD overtake them, so although it seems like other cars like Cybercab are priority I think Model Q is just if not more important than everything

I want to see 400 miles minimum when charged at 80%. So 500 or more at 100%. This is what EVs need since you are not supposed to charge fully all the time.

1. For road trips you can charge at 100% (only when leaving for efficiency) 2. Nobody is doing over 330 miles in a day, if you are then supercharging is about the same as gas, 500 miles of range is not feasible with current tech or we would see it with the 4680’s

@heyJohnEe doubt it. Tesla is still trying to make their cars cheaper to build that's the reason they want this redesign as much as we do. Changes to remove stalks, ultrasonic sensors, not including accessories, those crappy mats and felt liner. These are not the traits of a "complete" car. I would have enjoyed this video much more if it was grounded and didn't make outlandish claims. If you want to be successful on KZbin don't be afraid to call manufacturers out. Learn from MKBHD, LTT, type of channels. Good luck man!
