My classic vibe opened up and became more clear and vibrant. It was simply upgrading the electronics. I dont know what pickups are in it but they sound nice.
@TheworldofMattias9 ай бұрын
Thanks man! I think the pickups are the most important item to replace if you want to change the sound.

I love that colour of your tele ❤.
@TheworldofMattias11 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yes, I think the tele looks best when it’s the butterscotch finish with a black pickguard.

Great video. I really enjoyed hearing the demo of the telecaster from Temu. I've bought many things from there but not any guitars. I have a Donner dlp124 guitar and I'm replacing the two humbuckers. I'd like to put push pull potentiometers on the volume and tone. I want to split them but wire them separately to get as many combinations as I can. I didn't know how to wire them independently and on the three way switch. Thanks again for the video.
@TheworldofMattias7 ай бұрын
Thank you! Accually the guitar is from AliExpress, not Temu 😊. I’ve heard about Donner but never tried them, are they good?
@johnnygreenway35797 ай бұрын
@TheworldofMattias The Donner I have is ok, but certainly not as good as a higher priced guitar. It was first electric guitar.

Go ahead and pick up a Fender 4-way switch and get those pickups in series and while you’re at it put a treble bleed on the volume pot. I’m building a 50’s style Baja Tele parts caster. Using the pure vintage 64’ pickups Fender electronics and locking tuners. Mighty Mite Fender licensed neck. Keep on keeping on. 😊 I couldn’t tell that much difference in sound on my phone but I’m sure you could in person. Thanks
@TheworldofMattias10 ай бұрын
That´s a great idea! Maybe I´ll do it in the future. I will make a video of it if I do. Great to hear you´re building your own part caster, I´m planning to build one on my own but a strat. Keep watching, there will be a video on that. Yup, the sound isn´t that different but in real life the OEM pick ups is a little clearer and has a more "open" sound, definitly worth a upgrade :)

AFTER DE CNS[WOOD CUT MACHINES] , THE MASTER BUILDING TECHNICS ,BECOME UNECESSARY. ANOTHER VARIANTS REMAINS IMPORTANT , LIKE THE HARDWER. [CAPS/BRIDGE/TUNERS MACHINES] LIKE SHOWED IN THIS VIDEO:CHANGING THE HARDWER AND COMPARING AFTER/ BEFORE . WE WILL FELL A SMALL DIFERENCE. MINE OPINION ; WE CAN PERFORM AN ORIGINAL FENDER. OR CHINESE FENDER AS THE SAME WAY. unfortunately BY A QUARTER OF PRICE[ADDING THE HARDWER CHANGING OR CHOOSING AN INSTRUMENT WHOSE GET SAME CHARACTERS IN NUTSHELL; WE MUST OPEN EARS FOR ANOTHERS ELTERIC GUITARS, OR WE WILL PAID ONLY DE TRADE MARK

Is that an Affinity Squire? The pick up change seems to make a big difference to me.
@TheworldofMattias11 ай бұрын
No it is a "Chender" from Aliexpress. And I agree, the pick-up change made a difference!

Again, I don't hear the stock pickups sounding bad. I think I would just upgrade the electronics and change the magnets to A5s. So weird.
@TheworldofMattias9 ай бұрын
I can hear a lil bit difference. But, as you say, the stock ones holds up very well. I’ve been thinking on doing the magnet swap myself. Maybe in a future video.

@@TheworldofMattias How are the frets? That's my biggest concern. I have a Classic Vibe Tele that I put a humbucker in the neck. I broke the neck so I was thinking of putting all the parts into one of the Keith Richards tribute models.
@TheworldofMattias9 ай бұрын
Well, the Chenders aren’t as good as the Chibsons. But the frets on mine is ok, no issues so far!

Is the body thickness as a fender or is it thinner?
@TheworldofMattias7 ай бұрын
The thickness is ca 45 mm. So it’s roughly the same as a Fender.

Your video seem to be very educational you seem to know what you're doing I don't know your I don't know what your mission statement is if you you buy these cheap guitars to show people how to work on them or if that's just your thing I hope you don't try and sell these things if they have a fender or Gibson or whatever the brand name is because they are forgeries in the United States it's against the law to buy them meant to sell them people think it's just against the law to sell them but it's also federal offense to buy them you could just buy these things and put your own name on them you don't have to have Gibson that's not something you have to do you can get the same exact guitarbut hey it's your money you do what you want with it you know I don't see the point in buying forgeries unless you want to own a guitar and you know tell people that hey look what I got I got to give son I got a friend that you know and again I just hope you don't sell these guitars or if you do you know you put fake somewhere on it because it's besides not being really cool it's also against and it's not fair to the people that buy it I'm not saying that's what you doing I'm just hoping it's not what you're going to do with this I read a comment about a guy who you know gutted or boy got in China guitar it was a comment and in this video and like 600 bucks he said into it he's got like you know a guitar that's better than a Gibson well I beg to differ it's not going to be better than the Gibson and he doesn't have to worry about L hey I've learned if you don't drop the guitar on the neck or on the headstock usually won't break LOL I'm not a Gibson fan you know I own a couple but that's it I bought mine at the phone 1959 a kit for just about 700 bucks it comes with all gifts and electronics two piece of body with a real maple it has a first focus 2 and 3 in its CTS parts witchcraft jack plates witchcraft the toggle switch yeah it is all Gibson electronics it's got over tuners and it cost me $700 said he hasn't that his fake a Gibson and mine says at the phone on it and I'm fine with that because I was amazing sounds great it's got a really decent finish on it it's probably yeah but it's a good it's not like the thick kind that's like in case the plastic it came with its own case yeah 700 bucks you can get things like this out there and without having to buy a fake whoever I forget the the channel name of the guy that's been 60000 on his fake Gibson vunlock ragging on you Matisse I think it's amazing that you can do all this work and that you can produce these videos I think that's a talent and I thank you for the videos I mean I watched two of your videos already from the beginning to end and I did enjoy them I'm blind at the moment I wasn't always if I wasn't I would work on my own guitars more than I do now that's for sure certainly am not doing anything with an 800 degrees outside anyway I hope you keep your videos, and I hope that they become successful and you reach a thousand subscribers and yeah you know again you know that's just my my point of view on things sincerely about the blind bedroom gg there was a guy out there that used to be called the China guitar skeptic and then I think he started calling himself CGS and he died recently his name was Mike and he was you know telling you the whole inside story and all about guitars coming out of China The fakes mainly what to look out for all that kind of stuffwhich most people thought he was but you know to let you know what you were getting yourself into and I suggest that channel to anyone out there I'm sure they're still up there they'll be up there in for 2:30 you know and now long after he's been gone and he was a really seem to be a really great guy who loved

Hello, thank you for your comment and your concern! I just want to make this very clear, I´m not gonna sell these guitars. I live in Sweden and our law may differ from yours i America but it is not illigal to buy counterfeits, but it is illigal to sell them on. I would never do that. My aim, with my videos, is to show people what they can do with cheap guitars and that cheap guitars out of China is getting really good. They are not great, but as a DIY project they are nearly unbeatable. I have a great time working on them, I´m more of an guitar technician than a musician. Maybe I´ll do a video on this topic, In that case I´ll be sure to mentian you! Take care and keep watching!
