I hate to be that guy, but… is that the correct bridge? There seems to be quite a bit of space from the low E to the edge of the fretboard. Also, it looks like the low E string doesn’t pass over the pole piece on the neck pickup. Sorry.

Hey brother. Looks pretty good. I just ordered a brand New Gibson Exclusive run Les Paul Standard 50's AAA top, in Bourbon Burst. I wasn't happy with my last Gibson purchase, so hopefully the 3k dollar mark with be better. I still have yet to see or hear one better than the Cathy Zhong Greeny she custom built for me. I will compare them when it arrives. I have a feeling it will be very nice. I had 6 to pick from. supposed to be 9 lbs on the dot. Im kinda excited about this Gibson. I haven't spent 3k on a guitar in a long time. All in the name of research. lol.

Good stuff... enjoying the videos. You probably know, but you can find accurate printable headstock templates for most guitars... I used on to trim a big Squier 70s style headstock down to the standard Strat size... they even have files with measurements you can use a measuring tape to be exact.

I didn't want to have to take all the finish off and start over, like in EVERY OTHER VIDEO on the subject. And if that wasn't enough, that Daphne Blue really works for me.
