Telecat / Telechat - remade English dub of episode 1. Happy new year 2024

This is an unofficial UK dub of Telecat made by me with my family cast as additional voices. All original copyright stands. This was created out of love and passion for the original as well as finding it completely bizarre.
I’m not sure what the heck I was thinking doing this, but for a new year special I decided to make an English dub of Telecat. I did this out of stupidness and love of the original. I can’t find any English dub of Telechat/Telecat these days.
I also don’t speak French so I’ve used google to translate it to english, then used my own noggin to come up with the rest of the dialogue and context. I’m not sure if it works. The timing was all wrong and was limited with footage.
To put this into context, I used to watch TCC (The Children’s Channel, one of the UK’s first dedicated satellite channels) in the 1980s and early 1990s. It played some shows that were re-dubbed into english. Telecat was an English version of the French Kids show Telechat.

I actually own a video with about maybe 8 or 10 episodes of the English dub on that was taped for me as a kid. I still own it, unfortunately, I know where it is and not much chance me getting to it, as theres lots of stuff blocking access to the box with it in. And then theres the converting thatd be needed The monkey if I remember right is called Pluggo and the thing in the hole was the Quark of the hole. Great job on the dub!

Wow I remember this in the early days of TCC or The Childrens Channel as it was called back then but only ever been able to find the French version.

Hey jonkasonic um so i seen in the description that you seen the series back then in the 80s and 90s if u can remember how many episodes there was and if you watched all of them please let me know

So I don't remember watching all of them. I only ever say them on The Children's Channel in the late 1980s and I was only about 4 around that time, but there's bits that I remembered like the intro on series 1 and 3, but I didn't remember the helicopter on series 2 or the rabbit man. Plus this is very insteresting that you saw the uk dub back then its somehow lost media to everyone since none of the real uk dub episodes havent been found but one was found but got deleted
