ar-51 is the best sound. it captures all the high end, mids and lows, that you can tweak out .. cleaaaaan......

Great video Warren! I liked the most the AR-51 then the AK-47 for general use. All of them are great and works better in some things than others, but for my ears, the AR-51 is the winner.

I like the AR-51. I think the difference is the vacuum tubes. 12AT7 is always my best choice.

AR-51 to my ears sounds the best, but I like the CU29 has something

I actually liked the AK-47 all-around. Needs a bit of eq-ing depending on the instruments it's used on, but to me it's the least cluttered as far as mid frequencies are concerned, and also has a nice upper end without harshness. Very defined, it stands up very well against the ELA m 260 on acoustic guitar, which surprised me quite a bit. I liked the test but it lacks important informations such as what kind of mic preamp was employed throughout the process.

copperhead on her voice, AR-51 or small M260 on drums or guitar, I wonder if some close mic apps would have been cool like kick drum or bass and guitar cabinets. neat mics.

I preferred the AR51 on everything but piano. On the piano I liked the AK47 the best, unfortunately, I need to wait till the AR51 is in my budget range, but I would not use any of these for pianos anyways.

ak47 was my favorite, one of my favorite guns also ahaha for real but it def. had the most presence of the vocals
