The first things I always want to know is about her childhood and then what kind of parents they were. There are always two sides remember - just as we all learned through Monsters recently. Nothing justifies killing but killers are often moulded over time toward sudden hostile actions. Her relief that she's finally been caught has clearly plagued her over the past four years and now 'she can rest' as she admits she deserves whatever. That kind of 'mind your own business' attittude is such a bad culture that helps nobody in distress. If your gut feels something is off, say something, do something, check on someone!

- No one noticed the parents were gone for 4 years - She ”financially abused” her parents but apparently it was completely normal and easy for her to use their cards, banking info etc. No one also seemed surprised she handled all the house-related tasks and brought her dad drinks etc. - She doesn’t seem to be sad about killing them, but also is emotional when bringing up details of the killings - She never left the house. She knew she would get caught. She aided the police as much as shw could. Something about her seems so strange. Like, defeated or resigned? I don’t know, I kinda feel like there’s a lot more to the story. Why didn’t she bury the bodies or grt rid of the evidence? It’s like she was waiting for this.

If here parents were abusive (and that’s no excuse for murder) keeping their bodies may have been about having control over them. Also with her blasé attitude she may have planned to dispose of them but just never got around to it and the bodies became more unpleasant, and then she just got used to it and thought “oh well, this is fine I suppose.” Creepy af

I lived about 30 seconds away from where this happened. There were police and forensics at the house for several days. Today it’s still boarded up and I’m not sure what will happen to it as it’s a terraced house, albeit the first in the row. Usually these houses will be demolished. Would be nice to have a memorial to her parents. Before that I had just moved from another house where 10 seconds from my house a man was shot and killed at a gas station. I’ve grown up in Great Baddow my whole life and to see the number of murders, other than these, still shocks me. It’s always been a peaceful and safe area up until the last few years. Such a shame. RIP to these lost souls who didn’t deserve this ❤

The makeshift sarcophagus had edges sealed with silicone filler, the mans body was in a sleeping bag and had layers of plastic wrapped around him. The mother was likely wrapped in layers of plastic too. Likely contained fluids over time as the bodies decomposed.
