Wow! Wonderful performance of a magnificent piece. So many beauties... At the heart of Telemann's creative principle is a vocally sound melodic ideal. He himself repeatedly emphasized the fundamental importance of this compositional element; Matheson also characterized Telemann during his lifetime as - a composer of beautiful melodies. In harmony, Telemann penetrated into areas of sound that were then unknown. Zeus, among composers, with 3600 works!

Beautifully done! Bravo to all. I was especially delighted to see that chalumeaux were included in the orchestration, being a chalumeau player myself! They are exactly right for the era of these compositions.

WOW, What a superb performance of this fine (neglected!!) sacred work= Words & Musik by Telemann! Circa 1720. Yet it was performed in Hamburg hundreds of times... carried on through CPE Bach's tenure!! His Godson! Hoechst-selige Musik zum Erwaegen! Perfect for Easter!!
