Thing is, everyone does the ‘sink into teleport’ like a layer but nobody does the actual teleport rounding over the actor. That’s really what sells the effect to me in the series; not just disappearing into the thing but the thing also flowing over the back of the head as he goes in. Like water.

I do get a lot of people saying that film will die out, I don’t think it ever will but I do getting scared that movie companies only care about reboots and lame sequels but what do you think Film/Cinema will be like in the next 10-20 years? My short for the ride reel competition is 2 minutes 59 seconds. But I have to add the 3 seconds tittle card to it. I asked if those three seconds count for the total duration of the short but they haven’t answered back. So I still done know

Once adding Set Matte and inverting it, I do not obtain that outline/glow effect. It's simply missing entirely. Prior to that, I could still see the as normal. Any ideas?

When you removing the character (teleport out), the mask is set to subtract right. But when I apply the bulge effect or any other mask, for some reason it is only being applied in the rotoed area. Even though I am doing it on an adjustment layer.
