Thing is, everyone does the ‘sink into teleport’ like a layer but nobody does the actual teleport rounding over the actor. That’s really what sells the effect to me in the series; not just disappearing into the thing but the thing also flowing over the back of the head as he goes in. Like water.

When you removing the character (teleport out), the mask is set to subtract right. But when I apply the bulge effect or any other mask, for some reason it is only being applied in the rotoed area. Even though I am doing it on an adjustment layer.
