The amount of bosses you can get to with clue steps is disgusting some example kril(gwd), sara(gwd), cerberus lair, zulrah, kalphite lair, dks, top floor slayer tower for grotesque guardians, abyssal sire area, kbd lair, farming guild, some honorable mentions almost all rc altars, angler fish spot, mory big net/harpoon south east of Morton, volcanic mine, fremmenik mining area, hunter spots around gielinor the list goes on that relic is cracked

There's a hard clue step that takes you straight to the middle of the barrows surface. Get that as a clue and you have unlimited teleports to both the surface and chest.

Clue compass just completely outshines. Not just getting around the map, but you know there’s always so many tasks that involve clues. And being able to get a clue done in about 30 seconds or less will be insane. Stack of 50 or so clues to be done super quickly. And just gain a ton of league points quickly

All of these have different coverage, but clue compass, on top of being insane for some regions, gives you the ability to speedrun clues, which historically have been best points generators with their unique drops, as well as boss locations that are usually hard to get to. Moreover, if you find a clue teleport next to a bank, that eliminates the supposed advantage bank heist gives with quick banking and likewise, you can teleport to a clue location next to a fairy ring to access most of your area that way if needed. In the end, clue compass will most likely be the most busted out of the three and seems like a straight forward choice.

Clue compas is by far the best one. On top of the teleports , it gives you the clue step teleports. which COULD mean you can create new loops of teleports (As it did not say it had a cooldown). Along with Grimmoire for example. This teleports you to barrows + straight to the reward chest. allowing you to specifically grind 1 single armor set like earlier league. There's also a teleport next to the gargoyle boss for instant acces. and most of morytania you can acces with different spells/rings/amulet anyways. Same for other regions. I think only Kandarin and Zeah would prefer from bank chest. as this also gives raid tp acces early (for quests aswell)

I could be wrong about this but my understanding is Clue Compass can't TP you to clue steps that involve fights. Fossil Island has a Saradomin Wizard fight step that the compass won't get you to.

My understanding is that by "Specific NPC" they mean clue steps that require you to kill guard or a hellhound for a key, because there's no location it can specifically teleport you to for that step.

It's speaking about the few clue steps that are simply "Kill NPC". Like Kill a Bloodveld, or Kill an Avianse. You would have to run to those locations. But your example would just teleport you to fossil island, and you can start the fight yourself.

Pertty sure there is a deposit box at zulrah, also missed quite a few teleport spots that are underground, like the gem mine. Also, I kept thinking "wait there is a clue there, and there.." and realized you only showed stashes in those maps, not even all the potential direct tele from specific clue steps, that you can keep one for each tier. Speaking of, I wonder if it will bypass the need to do hot and cold steps altogether too.

Although clue compass looks a bit weak in varlamore, it drops you next to a quetzal spot, so you could count the reach of your quetzal network as part of it's network. Same for bank heist with a little bit more walking. Although it has to be pointed out that the quetzal spot has to be built first, so that one should have the highest priority of getting set up

Can't forget about the underground areas. Some clues leads to a lot of underground areas (i.e. the end of barrows).

This is of course only looking at Clue Compass' stash units. You can 'hold' a clue for tele stuff. There's a master hot and cold step by the astral altar. You can use that instead for rc which is another L for kand.

There is a medium clue step located at the northern fossil island bank, you could just keep that one step if you want to use that as a bank tele/seaweed runs

@FullTilted I feel like this is sort of cope regardless of region if the clue tp location doesn't get you within ~10 seconds of walking, then an actual teleport location or fairy ring probably will there's just too many tps if you have the clue scroll locations for the other two to be even remotely competitive

You forgot to mention for the Fremmy section that you also have the Falo the Bard tele, which puts you right next to the fremmy hall and generally pretty close to the different boats to get around the islands. Little better than the other options, unless they count Peer the Seer as a deposit box for teleportation too.

There is definitely a clue spot at the bank at giant seaweed farming. Sara/zammy mages and also a bandos/armadyl guardian.

Without teleporting to clue steps, Clue compass looks pretty weak. But teleporting to clue steps is super strong so it seems like a no brainer to me.

Awesome effort you put into this. One thing pretty big that you missed with Clue Compass is the ability to keep 1 clue of each tier as a teleport as well; if I'm not mistaken you've only showed STASH units which is only half of what's overpowered about this relic

Thanks! I don't really know a good way of showing off the different clue steps because of how many there are. It's very strong for getting clues done and teleporting to do clues, but i dont know how much work you would have to do to get a specific step for a teleport

Bank Heist wildy will teleport you much closer to the restoration pool in Ferox Enclave. If there is a last recall strat I could see that being a bit better than clue compass, particularly for deep wild. Probably not worth taking over clue compass though.

Are the clue compass locations just stash units or including actual clue steps? Because you can always store a clue step close to a fairy ring for example behind wizards tower step and have instant access to the fairy ring.. something else to consider is that clue compass not only teles you to all these places it also just instant teles to the clue steps which can speed up those boring clue grinds

Looking at what i mainly used FF for last year was clues as for your bossing content mostly had to use normal teles anyways. clue's will massively speed up clues and i will be able to setup steps like DK ladder dig step to get there quickly when im grinding them. banker one has very little benefit altough i do feel like people are looking at it as a crafting guild tele and it can be alot more than that i don't think it benefits anymore than clue compass wil do.

Id say the only reason you should take anything other than clue compass is if you want fairy flight for farming. If say you dont have zeah and the farming Guild and your 1 herb patch is annoying to get to... Otherwise clue compass is just OP in every way. You said it was weak for morytania but there is literally a teleport to barrows chest which will speed up that grind 10 fold. There is a clue step near nightmare that will be your best tele there until you get the tablet. The dk step could be huge for farming that echo boss. Getting clues done in a fraction of the time thought is what sets this over the top to me.

That is absolutely helpful, but to be fair Fairy's Flight also gets you really close to some banks. This isn't directed at you, I don't think you were saying this, but I've heard some people act like Bank Heist isn't good because Clue Compass can get you to a bank and I don't really think that's the point. Look at Kourend and see how many teleports there are with Bank Heist, that relic is for teleporting and not just banking.

@@Ppall0t I think this is were Banker's Note and Last Recall plays into really heavily. Using stacks of notes Dueling Rings or whatever, VS making your own recall spots. Another thing to think about: For other locations this isn't a problem, but I believe normal teleports in Wilderness are going to have the same restrictions

A lot of people are saying it, but is the clue step teleport going to be -that- useful for getting around? I don't do clues so I'm not sure, but isn't getting a clue location relevant to what you're doing just going to be a nice occasional bonus on pure RNG? Couldn't you burn through several scrolls trying to land on a specific spot, even moreso if you can't complete all the steps yet? And you'd have to repeat the cycle any time you wanted to switch it...

I think people should just see how long it takes to scroll through this page to get a feel for how many different spots there are. this is definitely true, although when there are steps limited by unlocked regions and you're taking a relic that allows you to solve clues insanely fast, grinding out a specific step becomes a lot more realistic if it means saving loads of time getting too/from an area you'll be training in for a while

Who made these maps? There are a ton of locations missing for bank heist and clue compass. Don't know about the fairy rings because I didn't even bother to check as I'm picking Zeah no matter what.

@@WhateverNameIsStillAvailable they were just made by different people on the wiki. i believe someone else did most of fairy’s flight, but i had (at least at once point) done a lot of the bank heist page. i did a lot of importing from other sections of the wiki to pages specific to the relics and then changes the map links to show all of a type on one map, for example the bank chests and deposit boxes where on the same page but separate maps. that’s not to say that other people didn’t fix any mistakes i may have made, because i’m not an expert at the wiki, and also not to say that someone didn’t go back through and mess something up haha. I know that the banking NPCs weren’t included on the map, did you see any patterns like that of things wrong? I’m not aware of anything else like that. I didn’t show a lot of underground locations here, if that’s what you are talking about. Also, I just showed off STASH units and not clue steps.

@ Peer the Seer in Fremennik village is considered a deposit box, there is also a bank in Keldagrim under the map. Don’t forget the Bank in the thieves guild of Burthorpe.

I'd have to go back and watch, but I recall thinking like "why didn't he mention that one?" My mindset is maybe the newer players might not know the really good niche spots unless their hand is carried to it.

I believe this is missing all clue step locations, but has all STASH locations. I really couldn't think of a way to feasibly sort all of the clue step locations and lay them out, there are so many of them. Also, I don't know if it will be easily to hold onto a clue for a teleport, and how hard it would be to farm for a specific clue step location. IMO the clue step teleport is great for doing clues, and not a huge focus about the utility of getting around the map. But I could be wrong. I would love to make a followup video going over clue step locations, but I just don't really know how to sort it.

I think the maps I showed were fairly accurate, I just didn't show every single map. I didn't avoid showing specific maps because I thought they were unimportant, I just chose to keep it mostly to Gielinor Surface to try to make it easier to follow. There have been some great comments pointing out some of these areas, like barrows, and I encourage everyone to read them. I am totally open to making a follow up video where I can go more in depth some things that were overlooked
