happened to me yesterday. jumped when I saw the save in the wall to my right, thank God for the auto save, I guess since you access this area through the pyramid head cutscene, going back would be impossible

Always rotate saves even just two or three slots could save your game and alot of frustration

@@jermonius Yes! I was able to pause and just load the auto save I had thankfully. After I posted, I realized that it was a soft lock haha

first he was on one side of the door, you are allowed to look through the hole in the door and you can see the red game save square on the wall. (which was actually where you first begin this area many hours ago) then at 0:18 he is suddenly now looking into the area where he was just standing, so he has magically teleported to the other side of the door and is now standing next to the red square on the wall, which previously he could only look at it through the hole. there is no way to walk back to the other side of the door where the game progresses, you have to load a previous game save.
