It seems like the adjustable arm is under a lot of pressure with that much weight hanging so far in front of the ladder vs regular ladder jacks.

Honestly amazing idea i dont know what these people are talking about with the ladders being overloaded, obviously they have never seen a roofer carry bundles up a ladder or know that aluminum ladders are designed to flex under load. They work like a torsion springs as if they were super ridgid they would weigh 250 lbs and be un workable. Ladder jacks are common practice for siders and exterior painters up to 24 ft in height. Pump jacks are obviously better but they are just as limited they have similar weight restrictions to a type 1 ladder and do flex with 2 guys on a 2 pole set up plus if I was siding a 2 box wall it would take me longer to set up my pump jacks and keep pumping them up for the wall then back down unset up the jacks, hell I have even set up another set of jacks on the opposite side of the ladder with a box of siding it would be nicer if they were 3 rung jacks tho to help split the load just a bit more. This is perfectly safe and anyone that thinks otherwise is what we call a Karen. I do think using a rope after 10ft is ohs law here in canada tho which is a no brainer.

As a pro contractor of 25 years i can say with the up most professionalism.... "FUK NO!" ....Flimsy shit gonna kill someone! Leverage clearly exceeds the capabilities of the setup. Especially if you try to carry a 5 gal bucket, and u weight 250+. Good idea, needs more engineering!
