Why did it take seeing his dead wife to make him a generous person? Here's a better plot: an alcoholic doctor suddenly gets the power to heal people, but depending on his behavior, the power doesn't last long. For exp, he does good things it lasts longer, he does bad things, the power doesn't last. He also tries to find out how he got these powers, all while trying to keep it secret from coworkers and an ex-wife as deals with 2 malpractice suits and periods where he falls off the wagon.

Why cancelled? Fantasies and medical dramas have different audiences...did third in its time slot. The ego of this actor is AMAZING. He went off--REALLY pissed when they emailed him that the show had been cancelled. You think this doctor has an ego? Patrick Wilson, the actor, is 10 times worse. If you like him, don’t read ANY article about him. It will just piss you off.

yep too many doctor shows. the backstories are absolutely mediocre. and his dead wife has got to be laziest ghost I have ever seen.she might as well be alive. Paddy wilson is forgetable bloke too. A cookie cutter type with zero personality of his own. One of the most boring "heroes" in the recent years lol!
