They're plenty of youths doing positive things in their community. It's just because this government pic and chose who to highlight. For example, KZbin the Jamaican short film Let's Show Them Love. It's about HIV/AIDS discrimination and mental health awareness. A group of people out of Porus, Manchester came together and did that. Both the PM and the health Minister has yet to acknowledge the film ( even when CVM At Sunrise, Jamaica Gleaner, and Kabu on Irie acknowledge the film). But why does the government yet to acknowledge this crucial film and talent rural people? All because the person who wrote the screenplay had written a book about animal cruelty and one about contract killings in Jamaica. A book titled Murder For Sale that's showing the troubled youths of Jamaica that violence is not the answer to resolve an issue. This childish government willing to deprived the people the awareness that Let's Show Them Love is teaching-- all because the writer wrote a book telling people that animal cruelty is wrong...and the other book about contract killings. The people of Porus who acted in the film and made the film are rare accomodities in Jamaica and as important as anyine who trying to make a difference. It's a whicked set of leaders to ignore the film -- because they're not fond of the screenwriter. Watch Let's Show Them Love then ask yourself why the MOH has yet to endorse this film?
