£107 for a no name printer seemed just the job.
Easy setup and plenty of connection options.
I went with the LAN option and everything works well.
Download the larger of the two packages available on the website.
It will also install scanner software as well as the drivers.

It feels a little flimsy but at this price you can't really complain.
Plenty of adjustable options within the menu system.
Comes with a 700 page yield cartridge but a 1600 yield cartridge is available at £24.

From what I hear those are not at all bad printers, and are reasonable regarding consumables. Myself i use some old scanners, and also a HP cheap mono laser, which, combined with the PC, serves all my needs. Replacement cartridges are under 20 GBP, and it works with both genuine and aftermarket cartridges, with it being an old printer non DRM'd to death like the current crop of HP printers are. ID copy you place the ID card on top, press ID copy, start, and it runs to half the page. Then you flip it over, place again at top, and it scans the rear, then prints a single sided page with the 2 sides on it. Actually quite useful at times for small things as well that are double sided, like those small manuals, so you can scan them in and keep as a single page document.

I purchased a Pantum printer. It was claimed to have a three-year warranty when I purchased it. However, a problem occurred in the first month after use. The sole agent confirmed that this was a factory-origin problem and claimed that the manufacturer was studying how to correct the problem. Then, they requested I purchased another model as a trade in and rejected to responsible for any repairs or compensation. Therefore, if you are considering purchasing this brand of printer, please confirm whether you can accept no follow up or maintenance service.
