I have to admit I was really looking forward to this video because I used to come to Dawley quite a lot in my early teens. in my opinion it had one of the best video stores in Telford even though I would come to Dawley at least once a week I have a very hard time trying to remember it I don't even remember the video store that much what it look like where it was located or any other shops that I would visit. I was kind of hoping at this video would help jog my memory and help me remember but sadly it hasn't I'm really shocked because I thought once I see the streets and shops it would all come back. Thank you you for uploading this video I still really enjoyed it and Dawley still looks like a great place im just gutted i cant remember it.

I'm glad you liked the video, I remember you asked for a Dawley video. My 1st visit to Dawley was about 6 years ago and in all that time I don't recall a video shop so I can only think it closed sometime before then. There might be more shops in a part of Dawley I'm yet to visit but I don't know.

@@AaronTelfordUK the video shop is now a Solicitor’s next to he band stand. I was born and raised in Dawley my god it’s changed I brought my kids up there for a few years until I moved my whole family still live there. The charity shop up top was a pharmacy by the chippy. Jewel in the crown best curry’s ever. Planning to move back soon can’t wait I miss it. Always a Dawley girl.

@@AaronTelfordUK also my daughter was christened at the pastoral centre as we Call it (Christian-centre) (next to bandstand) used to go there for coffee when my daughter was a tot. The jewel at the bottom was the lord hill pub for donkeys years. Had many a good night there with my family my mom brother and I. OMG amazing memories. .

@@debraedwards3852 Thank you for sharing your memories it's awesome to know these things :-) I have more recent videos walking down Dawley High Street as it's covered in snow and you might also like the video where I walk from the Telford Steam Railway station along an old and un-used section of railway track toward The Cheshire Cheese Pub :-) If you are able to move back to Dawley I hope you like the place as it is now :-)
