I love the new hearth and wood stove. It looks awesome! We have been discussing putting in gas or a wood stove as backup heat. We're still researching and trying to decide what will work best for us. We are in Tennessee so we get cooler temps and sometimes snowy winters but I never knew how hard it would be to decide on those two lol.

The new wood stove and platform looks so good. You will enjoy the warmth. Wood heat is different and you will notice that. It may take some time to adjust the heat level. Might be times when you will have to open a window because it will get too hot in the house. Another chore added go take out the ashes. Chickens love to take dust baths in ashes. Just a tip. No charge!!! 😃

Our woodstove had a griddle on yop and extending sides for keeping pots warm and coffee. It got us thru many cold ice, snow storms. It was great. Kids got their sleeping bags out and slept there most nights when heat was on.😂
