This means EVERY aspect of the game, we can not train agility without using chests, obtain items without using chests, or use shops as they are not chest related.

Dunno if you knew this already, but you dont need 10 of one kind of seed to fill a birdhouse. You can split the required 10 over multiple kinds.

Mahogany homes points can be spent on "supply crate", which has good cons supplies. Unsure if those count as chests, but if sarcophagus count, I think crates do to.

Crates don't count mainly because there are simply too many overpowered crates than make chests redundant, and coffins count because if you do some googling on irl use cases, coffins are actually chests! It's like how the term casket can be used synonymously between chests and coffins

Always love seeing an update to this series! Did you have a special rule for the breach/eye/jewel of the sun from ToA? Do they count as a weapon, or would they fall out the realm of usability since they need to be attached to a weapon that isn't from a chest?

There's a way to lose aggro of the lizardmen for the stone chests so even level 3s can do it, might be helpful so you dont have to bring food and antipoisons

I'm gunna be honest. Having clue scrolls last an HOUR on the ground feels really stupid when they could just simply port over the scroll case system from RS3 (and in fact they can already do it as they have done it in OSRS for league powers)

OMG thank you! I have been wondering if my clues stay through an update lol The timer also pauses completely when you log out btw, so can leave them there overnight. But was always worried around game update time. Also how long did 4k chests take roughly? We have the same thieving lvl so I'm curious

Oh man please just do Eagle's Peak for your mental health lol. Box traps are kind of like chests that contain chins. Plus you got the box trap from a chest, so I'd argue that if you need a quest to use a chest resource that's fair game

Box traps suit my original rules (skilling items must use resources of some kind, aka cut a tree I grow with an axe) because you can bait traps, which is slow, but much faster than I have now, if I decide SOTE is back on the table I might, because using this current method, 70 hunter would take around 3000+ hours

Save yourself some time and change right click to "sell 50" in the rune shop and then click shift+click and spam click to buy everything. Also, maybe get less than 87% at barrows so you get more runes.

Nope! Crates are not chests practically, and also because soul wars/wintertodt would make a lot of actual chests redundant so it's more fun to exclude them!

You can't buy stuff like that at NMZ on an ironman, I can actually use that chest as it's rewards based, but I can only buy redirection scrolls due to ironman limitations

Wintertodt is a crate not a chest, so both realistically and for the series I haven't allowed crates as the supplies from places such as wintertodt and soul wars are too good and would devalue a lot of chests

I do have bird snares but one of my rules (mainly for me to enjoy the account) is that skilling needs to use a resource from a chest if it isn't chest related, like I have an axe, but can only cut a tree if I grow one with farming - If I can bait bird snares somehow using chest supplies technically this is possible, but I'm locked into tob now ;)

Nope! But as all of the materials to complete bird houses come from chests (steel bar, log, knife, chisel, molten glass for crafting table etc) I can use those materials in this way, there is also no other way to train hunter at all

If this refers to barrows %, then barrows uniques are NOT affected by it - just brothers killed, 86% is generally the best for money, but because I like key halfs/bolt racks etc I go to 100%!
