If you rewatch this at-bat vs. Sanchez, they didn't count one of the balls he threw! When Sanchez calls time out it's because he's confirming the ump said 2-2 count. It was 3-2. The 8th pitch of the at-bat should've been ball 4. The 9th pitch was the strikeout pitch.

Boy, even the umps get sloppy in these situations. Like, how are those pitches not getting ripped? It should be like BP. Maybe real pitchers should start mixing in 50 MPH slow pitches now and then...
