Numerous videos post Oxford asking the question Sunderland favourites for the championship? Many Sunderland fans swatted the idea away in the comments. Rightly so Leeds, Sheff. U and Burnley still carry that mantle. Are we contenders? Maybe, hopefully, why not. Nothing more at this stage of the season. Work in progress but it's definitely coming along nicely. Against a decidedly average Derby, we sat back on a two-goal lead when with our talent there was no need. Compare that to Oxford . We kept the ball kept going forward and got the best out of Neil.

Their keeper keot the score down against us as he made some really telling saves. My concern is that we have afew players with four yellow cards and they are facing suspension , so hopefully the squad rotation will come into play 🙏👍😁

There's a possibility that Rigg and Jobe pick up their 5th yellow. Browne is likely next pick but once one of those suspensions land, he might get his chance
