I did unload on someone, all my nasty thoughts about them (myself) that I had been holding inside, and once I did, I realized none of it was true. Then I experienced awakening. You never know how it's going to happen, but radical honesty is as good a place to start as any.

With ego there is your truth, my truth, their truth, but in Consciousness there is only the Truth. Thanks Adya, that was a really good excerpt.

The TRUTH is always present. We, as humans search for it within ourselves. When we KNOW it..it sets us free, even if others do NOT see it.

@Phoenix So with all due respect, there are so many other KZbin videos to leave comments about this on. So many of us love the journey of Non-duality precisely because it is a break from concepts and ideas and theories. I am not trying to be unkind and I know that reading and writing these little texts do not easily convey the spirit from which people speak but you are responding to a thread that I commented on so I am going to get an alert about any more comments.

The way I see it is that ego truth is ever changing story telling. But absolute Truth is what is without filter or interpretation. Is that so for you guys?

I urge you all to support "save soil" movement led by sadhguru. He is riding 30,000 kilometers across 24 nations trying to make policy changes on soil use. You should checkout some KZbin videos then you will know the seriousness of this issue. Thank-you

“They say, ‘This is not spiritual.’ Well it’s not. But it’s more demanding.” - Truth is above spiritual, higher than spiritual, more genuine and authentic than the spiritual; because spiritual is what ego reality is, and it dwells in the truth, which is the home for every other reality and their adjectives, as well as “materialistic”, etc. Spiritualism is relatively a white lie once you’re awakened.

Truth as I understand it is raw sensory input minus any interpretation, which can be difficult from a conditioned persective. Being honest is doing as you say, which in itself has nothing to do with truth. Truth cannot be told it can only be experienced.

Does this nontruthfulness also apply to when I'm doing sales and I'm "building rapport" to get the client to buy ? Am I being decitful ? Or should I just be more strait forward and say hey I want you to buy my product because I want to make money get more customers and feel successful . no I don't say that . I ask how are you? You look like you would benifit from this product you can't live without it actually and on n on you know the whole sales pictch . I feel like I'm lying in a way . its kinda like seeing s girl you like , and thinking , would it be truthful if I told her straight up I like you and want your number , or would it be truthful if I say hey hows your day going nice day out huh you come out here a lot ? See? So how do I know if I'm truthful . imean if I am truthful it might just come off as rude or creepy and vulgar

Truth, honesty and deception are seperate and cannot be used in the same context. Truth is a stand alone consept and to use words losses its meaning. Honesty speaks of intent, I will "do" as I say, being honest, or not, dishonest. You can be honest and deceptive at the same time, with the intent to deceive. In the context of the customer or the girl are you being deceptive or not. You can tell someone that you like them, there is nothing creepy about it, pending on the language you use or the person you have chosen. And the customer has come to you to purchase something, again intent on your part will govern your feeling on the sale. A better question to ask, are you deceiving yourself ??

Yes think of it like a dance with pre-arranged roles and movements. There’s a rhythm and an art to conversation, we rarely just state facts but that doesn’t mean it’s not truthful. The question to ask is are you both dancing the same dance? Or are you pretending to dance while intending all along just to trip them up? So don’t build rapport just to get what you want. Building rapport is like inviting someone to dance, you show some moves and they show some moves and if they fit well then you both can trust that you both want the dance to end the same way.

Right Livelihood Is one of the Buddhist precepts. If your job entails lying or deceiving people, could it be time to change your job? The second example of talking to a girl you like, is being pleasant and getting to know a person before deciding to ask for her number! Mind you if it is just insincere, meaningless chat up lines that can come off even more creepy than straight out asking for her number. :)

For me it's a part of spirituality. The truth is self realization in action. In real time engagement with other human beings. The compulsion to deceive is also part of identity. Of self realization. Let's put our opened realized hearts into action. Into the world. And let deception fall away with every true thought, word, and deed.

I don't understand why you mix these things together. Telling the truth is just telling the truth. And nothing else. Saying out loud what you think. What you are able to think or feel. If that's just a lot of moderately clever projection, that is only a garbage dumping, then you say that, when you tell the truth. And that's all. All the other things you were talking about are different things. The viewpoints will be more close after that or won't, but that's another. Maybe you wanted to say, that it's far not enough just speaking your true viewpoint. But most of the people do not even reach that point. Yes, the next level would be being honest to yourself. Seeing where and why you are wanting to fool yourself by believing things what were never existing. Instead of seeing that we know nothing. That we're nothing else but only the slaves of our own existence.

@Phoenix I don't really see how your reply is related to my comment, but regardless of that, it seems an utter mind-numbing bollocks. (And there was no a single crab person in that. I was waiting for the crab people but they weren't showing up.) But anyways, what do this add to anything ? What should I do with this information now, that you shared this with me ?

@Phoenix Believe me, I know the cure to my own problems. (And I will never be able to get that cure ...) But regarding the problems of the world, there's no as much chiropractor in the world, what could solve that. We are only the slaves of this universe.

@Phoenix You cannot imagine how painful to read your miserable bs, even if that was true. The only thing what could make me more happy if I could erase all those things from my memory what make my psychological pain. But those things are called "the world". If those could be erased, then I could be more happy, 'cause I would not know about things what exist. What are the part of the truth. This existence contains them. I would be only ignorant, not knowing about them. After a little time (if we left my intelligence) I would experience and learn them again, so I would be in pain, again. 'Cause that's what IS. You can put your layers wherever you want. Those will not help on me. You cannot say anything what will make me to accept all the misery what is a part of the human existence, where we are only the slaves of this universe.
