Season Finale - It's got all the makings of a really good country song. There's a train that rumbles through the dreams of a young boy on Route 8, that's Kosciusko Road, in Philadelphia.

I tell anyone who will listen that Marty Stuart’s shows are top level in every way. I’ve seen him several times over the years and have always been bowled over by his talent.

I saw Marty way back in the early 1990s when I was stationed in northern New York. He was performing at a small outdoor concert at a local rodeo. He was known at that time for "Hillbilly Rock" and his flashy country videos, which were so popular on CMT and TNN. He had skin-tight jeans, knee-high boots, big hair, a flashy rhinestone jacket, a killer band and a helluva good show; so basically, he was showing us then, who he truly was and was destined to be! He played the songs everyone knew from the videos and radio, he also played songs, I remember thinking at the time, that most of the fans my age wouldn't have a clue about- some amazing classic country stuff. He has ALWAYS honored those who laid the foundation for his generation and has continued to do so while also honoring and lifting others around him at the same time. He has spanned an amazing bridge from the legends he has played with and known and who's respect he rightfully earned to the role of a senior statesman of country music. He is in rare company in talent and status as a country, bluegrass, and American music STAR. Thanks for posting this interview!

I think Marty Stuart is the greatest link in the chain between what country music was to what it is today. He's seen and done it all. Plus he has incredible street cred. He's at the very top of the country music pyrimid.

I have got to travel to Mississippi and see the Congress of Country Music. Each one of us was born with a unique soul, each holds a piece to the puzzle of life ; each one of us needs to respect and uphold the person inside we were born to be, to resist the discouragement and the naysayers and the people who dont get us. Marty Stuart is one VERY solid man, with a core that radiates reassuring common sense and human values. One man like this is like a candle in the darkness....really really really makes a difference..

I think we are very fortunate to have Marty Stuart still with us and still making great music. Ive been a fan since i first saw him perform Hillbilly Rock. Something about style fit in with everything i already loved. Funny thing is I knew his sister before i even heard of Marty. Sweet Jennifer, she actually work for us, it was only later i was at fan fair saw her, and she told me about Marty. "Last of the Honky Tonk Kings" right up your alley Marty. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKfalI2MhMyLjKcsi=H0dK0EwjHB_0sQx6 (5 second delay)
