I guess it's pretty safe to say that one of the production ideas for this movie was to have the people in the suits switch around their costumes a bit so that it could look like there's more clowns than there actually were I'm not saying that the bad thing. In fact that's actually a very genius move when you have a very limited budget.

Theres actually a fan theory (a disturbing one) that the reason some human women were captured in the yellow bubbles instead of being cocooned and eaten, was to be somehow mutated into female clowns, and that that may be how the clowns reproduce.... The popcorn thing is also sorta up in the air currently... Some people consider the victims of the shadow puppets dead, others say they're captured and fed to the popcorn looking infant clowns, and this video was the first ive seen claiming the shadow puppet actually turns them INTO baby clowns. My and my brothers came up with theories on Klown society after watching the movie: The Klowns are a carnivorous people with extremely advanced technology that takes the shape of circus toys and props due to their culture, they must also be heavily modified genetically and cybernetically in order to do all their wacky feats. Klowns who are spawned together from the same group of Klown offspring probably grow into looking very much alike once they're adults that's why so many Klowns have multiple identical siblings. And finally, why do they explode into confetti when their nose is popped? Because their Klowns of course, a Klown is literally nothing without his nose.
