My initial choice was Q600C (upgrade of Q600B) but the salesman offered Q800B for a thousand pesos higher but better model. So its now my new choice, its 5.1.2 channels and if i add 9500S speakers worth 10k, the Q800B will become 7.1.2 channels.

Thinking of getting this, I'm not technically minded here. You hooked the hdmi to the TV, what happens when I want to watch 4k content through my 4k player. Do I use the optical cable for sound from the 4k player to the soundbar. Then hdmi from the 4k player to the TV is that how it works.

I have the q700b and with my lg oled c1. Flawless. The bass is deep and boomy. Something lacking from previous models. I can’t comment on the q600b but the 700b is top notch. I’d recommend that . But I don’t know difference between the two. Probably earc on 700b and the upward firing speakers get more height on the sound.

@@davidkay3443 q700b lacks Bluetooth multi-connection, no AAC support from mobile, also it doesn't support USB playback. But q600b does. For cheaper alteration Q600b is the best choice. We can consider Q800B If we have little more budget

This was my first choice and approved its cost but the salesman offered my higher version but older model. Q800B. Older version of Q800C. The price is a thousand pesos higher to Q600C. But Q600C is 3.1.2 channels and Q800B/C is 5.1.2 channels and can be upgraded by adding 9500S sattelite speakers to become 7.1.2 channels. I think Q600C can be upgraded with 9200S

This soundbar is not compatible with earc , it doesnt work after turning on e-arc. Samsung service center is replacing a component after which it works fine. I actually got three replacements for the sound bar and found this was a factory made issue in the model.

Yes because the 600b does not do Qsymphony also many of the features you would bet with a 700 and above only work with a w series tv I would have bought one but I only have a 4K Samsung tv

I received yesterday, I'm using with an LG TV. When I turn off the TV and then I turn on the TV it lost the pairing with the soundbar so I have every time go in the tv menu to ri- connect to soundbar. Maybe I do something wrong I don't know, any suggestions?

Have you tried using an HDMI cable and connect it directly to the TV. On TV make sure to select "HDMI ARC" port. Lg remote should operate it.

I cant Figure out where the 9 speakers sit. I can See 2 on the top and 2 on the Front and minimum one in center. Makes 5. I got q610b it should have 9 build in speakers. But that soundbar sucks. 400euros and sounds like a better stereo soundbar. No overhead Sound. Tried All settings. Try cek your hdmi cable and what i know you must cut the pin number 13 if your soundbar not working...maybe your tv box is disturb your soundbar sistem

Please read this product review on samsung before buying. My soundbar broke after 20 mins of using. Many of the 1 star review is in relation to this soundbar. Although samsung have great warranty service and they are replacing this soundbar for me, but beware, because this sound bar have serious manufacturing issue
