This monster is very fun but also like shit. :)
it is very difficult to execute this monster cleanly, as you can see in the first montage, sometimes it immediately hits the hunter which is very annoying and very tiring to do this run.

Thats probably just me but i find Sunbreak's Furious Rajang harder than Iceborne's. After having hunted 125 F-Rajangs in Sunbreak and 95 in Iceborne he honestly isn't slower in Sunbreak and he actually has faster recovery after certain attacks meaning he can stay more aggressiv on you than in Iceborne. He also got a lot of follow up moves in Sunbreak to punish wirefall abuse. He can also cancel his punching attack into a downward fist attack if you try to dodge to far away from him in Sunbreak. Another thing is that Sunbreak F-Rajang has much better tracking on his attacks then Iceborne's, in Iceborne he often feels like as if he has the aim of an Stormtrooper, especially the beam attack is an idiot proof opening in Iceborne. In Iceborne you can also use the clutch claw to soften his arms so you don't bounce of when hitting them which you can't do in Sunbreak. His pin attack was also changed, in Iceborne he will throw you on the ground and you just have to get up in time to dodge, where as in Sunbreak he will insted throw you into the air and use his beam attack on you so you have to dodge via wirefall and if you didn't manage your wirebugs and don't have any left you will get hit. Also if you dodge his pin in Sunbreak he will immediately couter by throwing a boulder at you that deals high damadge and also element + blight depending on the ground he pulled it from. Also if we compare the hardest Versions of Furious Rajang in both Iceborne (Tempered) and Sunbreak (Special Investigation), Tempered only has increased damage and maybe a bit more HP, while Special Investigation will one hit you with 90% of its moveset has 150k HP in Solo, all of his ranged attacks have increased size and range and he has the afflicted mechanic which means he can also deal bloodblight that nerfs all your healing items, slowly drains you hp but in return gives your attacks a life steal ability, so it forces you to play more agressive, it also means has a small dps check that if you don't deal enough damage he will cause as small explosion that causes 100% stun.

4:36 I use this build for general hunting but I only end up with 95% affinity because I have to fit in Health Boost 3 for comfort. Which do you think is better to keep: Attack Boost 4 so I can hit harder or do I use Latent Power or Max Might to fill out the missing affinity?

if you use frostcraft it would be better if you use latentpower, because it can add 50% affinity, maximum might you have to change your set to fatalist to get maximum might Lv5

Wow if you noticed at the end when the Rajang did his last blast attack, he was up against the wall and his arm was on it, the little details in this game is awesome!

This is the thermal layered armor, you can get it really early into master rank. It's a 2 or 3 star optional quest where you have to deliver a couple of eggs.

As a great sword main. I don't really understand all of the hate that longsword players get. I could be completely wrong. Maybe you guys don't get a lot of hate, but I've seen some really hateful things towards Longsword for no reason. But that was a really good run mate to keep it up

Some claim it's because they constantly get hit by LS online and have to use a deco slot to avoid it (when every weapon can hit you and if you play online you should use that deco no matter what), others claim it's because Capcom shows us favoritism. I have yet to see a valid reason though. Ps Greatsword is awesome and you have my respect, i want to eventually learn GS and Bonk Stick (Hammer)

Could you make a video for all the important settings you would recommend to someone who wants to get into speedrunning? Sometimes my slinger controls feel a bit weird so I look at the menu but I dont have any idea what even half the camera controls do because the wording isn't descriptive enough.

You can change the slinger focus or not in the settings, for the other settings I used the normal settings from the game, I just changed the camera speed to super fast, camera far, slinger focus or not.

His regarded pin is the worst attack in the game. Always gets me when I try to fcking counter him in sheathe stance. Instant death. Cannot be Iai spirit slashed half of the time for some idiotic reason, deals way too much damage, has really bad hitboxes. Way to ruin a good monster with one bad attack capcom. Ended so many runs with longsword, frustrating af. Fck Furious Rajang and his pin.
