Could I put one on an eazy pod pump fed and then in to my blade. At the moment I'm having to run a separate pump for the blade as it's 1.5inch and the return for the pod is 3 inch throughout. Don't want to be stopping the flow from the pod

Nice film. Like this filter very much. Ideal for a small pond. Maybe it's possible after the first cleaning to empty the measuere basket. Then you can see what filth comes out after the second cleaning. I like this system. Is it possible to use this filter in front of my shower filter? Is it correct that it works like a pressure filter. Sorry for my bad english.

I think they look like a great filter for fines to add onto a system and looking at one myself .. But !! I think there a is much better way of cleaning them .. one of the simply ways I've just thought of is to shut off both valves either side of the tempest .. then open the drain and drop the level inside by 4"- 6" or so then shut the drain again essentially lowering the level inside .. then instead of the gulping air process and not sure of how the valve works at the bottom or if this could be done but then attaching a air line to it and boil the filter basically like a eazy-pod but u have to open the top valve slightly to let the air escape but by dropping the level it shouldnt let the water return ..... Any ideas ???

@markf1fanagain3 жыл бұрын
Not convinced, also you run a bead filter which I did for 6yrs. why is the bead not taking the fines out. I do feel they would be better with more k1 in them and definitely a air line to turn them over when cleaning.
@TimWaddington3 жыл бұрын
If you look in the pond there are no fines at all. The Tempest are running from the skimmer, which is taking surface debris like any skimmer on any pond. The Tempest are not designed for a bottom drain.
@TimWaddington3 жыл бұрын
The K1 is measured for the flow rate per unit. If you added more then the flow rate would be less
