Thank you for uploading often again. I hope you are having fun with normal mode; it seems much easier than what you were used to in Gow 1. Maybe for gow 3 do hard mode? Ive completed gow 3 hard mode even when i was a noob so im sure you are qualified, if not overqualified, for it. For the newer gows i think you can do very hard. But as long as you have fun we would not complain whatever mode you choose

Hey guys...greek mythology guy here with another fun fact: So remember jason? (The guy that kratos took the deflective bracer from his body) well he didnt die to a monster in mythology. While most legendary heroes like hercules, theseus or perseus had tragic or heroic deaths... Jason is actually one of the few greek heroes that died on the most anticlimatic and dull way possible: One day, while he was cleaning his ship, the decaying beam of his ship fall off and hit him on the head, killing him outright. So yeah he survive monsters and all kind of challenges...but what kills him is his own beloved ship...talk about irony... I WILL BE BACK NEXT UPDATE WITH A NEW FUN FACT

For those chests in the water slide room, what you needed to do was shoot the vines with Typhon's Bane. That would have uncovered a grapple point to pull yourself onto the ledge.

Pro tip : you can get some nasty eye frames when you pull up the bow or the Gorgon's head right when the enemy attacks, the animation of you pulling one of these items makes you invincible and it's really good against almost any form of projectiles and any unblockable attack, this tech is very safe and switching between the head and the bow extends the invincibility , it's also really good at cancelling attacks and when paired with the hammer, you can destroy tanky enemies and boss with double triangle cancel combo

Here's some myth info: The snake lady is Euryale, one of Medusa's sisters. Medusa is actually the only one of them to possess the ability to turn others to stone, but much like the gorgon species of God of War, creative liberties were taken.

The fleece itself is also not a shoulder guard, it's just golden ram skin that can heal wounds, yet another creative liberty but an enjoyable one all the same.

Here some tips, kratos can grab Nymph "fire dragonfly" & aim to where to throw it. Some enemies like Rider & Hades fiend after grab repeat press "O". That 2 chest above, kratos can get it by shooting vine using Typhon Bane. Below one of 2 elevator have 1 chest. For me, I like to use Euryale head lvl2 for single or flying enemy that strong & lvl3 for horde of enemy but pay attention to magic because using high level for magic item a lot magic is use. Everytime get new magic item, during it trial for using that magic item the magic is infinity.

Tip: With the Barbarian Hammer you can do triangle triangle and after kratos hits the second slam immediately hit L2 while the bane of typhon is equipped and keep this in mind so you can cancel the heavy attack mid way by doing triangle, L2, triangle, L2 but be sure to quickly hit L2 and quickly let go and you should be good 🙌

By the way: I highly recommand the book to read about that game. In the meantime of Kratos new quest here.. Athena is talking to the Fates all the time and try to manipulate them.. and kinda succeed. It's part of her great plan. That's why Kratos get's so far. She also told Zeus to acted on Kratos, he actually didn't care about him unless Athena told him Kratos would like to become Ruler of Olympus. That's why Zeus said "You will never be the ruler of Olympus.. the cicle ends here"... also a important quote for.. why later in the series ;)

Here's a little God of war 2 tip, the blades you have in this game do less damage compared to the blades in other games, ( one of the side games uses them but you get a power-up that makes them as strong as the blades from the first game), the strongest weapon in the game is the hammer, so good in fact that it's a fav in the speedrun community. (and not just because it lets you infinite jump out of bounds)!!!

Hell yeah, man! I've been waiting for this. Just started watching. Played this game so many times but watching you react to it as a first time player reignites the nostalgia inside me, hehe. Also, what do you think of the quantity and quality of the bossfights, compared to the first one? I feel like you are enjoying yourself alot . If so, you are in for a treat because teh bossfights number is tripled. PS: The prompt from the first Cyclps tells you that you can grab the Cyclops' rider (the little, annoying goofy ahh enemies). If you do this, you can damage the Cyclops until a minigame prompt shows up, ripping up its eye in the end, but don't worry about this, you will need 20 of them and you won't find as many as you'll need in the first playtrough. Also, the eyes and the urns only unlock stuff as triple red orbs, infinite magic, Poseidon's Rage instead of Chronos' Rage and many other things, but only in bonus play (basically new game plus). If you let the rider do its thing and you don't grab it, you will damage both the rider and the Cyclops until the big guy is dead. Oh, and if you kill the riders before they blow into their horns, you can skip spawning a Cyclops if you are quick enough (the riders spawn them). EDIT: I should have waited longer. I see that the prompt appears again :)) nvm.
