6 ABY, shortly after the Liberation of Coruscant...
Luke Skywalker and his friends Wedge Antilles and Han Solo, shortly after the Rebel Alliance declared itself the New Republic, journey to the newly claimed Jedi Temple of Coruscant. Sensing little danger, Luke decides to enter the sacred ground by himself in order to try and gather the secrets kept locked away for over 20 years...

I'm surprised Anakin didn't appear at the end to tell Luke how proud he was of him and to have some banter about his son being a Master easily while he was rejected that rank. Still heartwarming, nonetheless.

Excellent as always. That final inertaction between Yoda and Luke especially was very well written, and is very much something I could easily see coming out of a movie or such. For Luke to be officially declared a Master and for that to be the old Orders final will and testament is shockingly wholesome.

@CrossElement beat me to the Anakin thing but... there was one other matter that surprised me. No lightsaber duel. This is still Jedi Academy, so seeing a mission that didn't have a lightsaber duel, a speeder jump or a blaster shootout is kinda weird. I still liked it though. And was satisfied that Ol' Mace finally admitted that he was wrong.

If this took place in Legends, then technically the Temple should still have been in shambles. The Temple wasn’t rebuilt until some years after the Liberation of Coruscant.
