Temporal Forces Pull Rates are TERRIBLE

This has me a little worried. I got a killer deal on those Grafaiai collection boxes. 20 of 'em for $182, shipped. Still waiting for them to arrive but that'll give me 40 packs of this set. Looking to compare how I do with how you did here. Pretty crazy how Pokémon usually averages out. Your 36 sleeves was pretty much on point with what you'd expect from a booster box. Maybe a little lacking on the FAs this round. It was a lot of bulky type hits. Hard to believe you're this deep into the set and still haven't pulled an SIR. I opened way less than you but I don't have either a gold or SIR, haha. Things are definitely nerfed in Temporal land.

I opened two ETBs and actually had good pulls. A gold, an ace card, 2 full arts, and 3 illustration rares. The first 10 packs I bough gave me Iron Crown alt art. Good luck...so far. I skipped the booster box for this set. I keep seeing worse pulls from those than from sleeves, etbs and blisters. 20 sleeves got me 3 IRs, 1 full art and a ton of regular ex cards though.

I am just starting the video. 20 seconds in and I have to pause it to say...... I HOPE you have better luck with your sleeved packs than I did with mine. I tried opening 36 sleeved packs and got absolutely obliterated. I think I ended up with 1 IR and 2 FAs total. -now I will proceed with the video- After Video Thoughts: Ok you did a bit better than me, coulda been much better though! Sad that you still haven't gotten an SIR. If it makes you feel better I got an SIR gouging fire from a booster box break and it got lost in the mail.... So even when I get an SIR, I still don't get an SIR lol. I need me one of them there Minccino's 😆

I’ve opened around 20-25 packs from gamespot and a ETB. I’ve pulled 3 Iron Crown ex full art….would’ve loved for one of them to be an SIR. Sadly about 20 Whimsicot’s and 2 aspec cards the gun and belt. Can’t complain too much. I do agree with you on this set is like brilliant stars on getting rare cards.

Congrats on those pulls, but yeah it feels like the pulls are getting harder as Scarlet and Violet progresses. Hopefully we get another set with a ton of SIR chases like Evolving Skies 😳

So with this set I went a different strategy. I bought two ETBs and a Booster Box. But then after that I’ve been buying singles. Not as much of a “high” but I do get satisfaction when I put in the binder and mark it off on Collectr.

I love that method, honestly might be the way to go on scarlet and violet sets. At least to feel it out and see if it’s too tough. I also use the Collectr app and you’re right, it’s so satisfying to complete the binders that way.

I agree, Scarlet and Violet seems to have a hard time striking a balance. It’s either too easy and the great artworks end being $10, or they are way too hard and not worth opening to try and pull. 🤷‍♂️

Welp you pulled a ton of cool cards today but i have always wondered with other poketubers i watch also what do you do with all of your duplicates rares,ex,full art shinys,secret rares ,ect and what do you do with all the bulk also i love the walking wake full art

So far I’ve kept all of my doubles that I pull, but after I put my master set binders together all the extra bulk gets traded for new sealed products at a local card shop.

Japenese booster boxes of this set are more giving and have better quality (Cyber Judge and Wild Force). Have you opened them? (Also waaay cheaper atm)

I have opened them, honestly I’ve been loving opening Japanese right now because of how affordable. Crazy we were paying $100 for a $40 box last year

My experience with temporal forces has been great. Opened a ETB, a triple pack blister and a booster box and have pulled 7 IR’s, 5 full arts, 9 double rares and 1 SIR, the iron crown ex which was my number 1 chase of the set.

@@MichaelRobbins5 I blame the store I got the booster box from cause that’s where I got most of the hits. They sold me an absolutely broken box. Gonna try my luck with a second box from them soon. Hoping for the same great luck.

This was the first set I got SUPER lucky on. My top 2 chases were the Morty's Conviction SIR and the Gastly IR, and I managed to pull those right away somehow. I was also able to trade 2 ace specs while they were still really high for Dratini IR from 151 + breakdancing Genesect, and Suicune + Zamazenta from Crown Zenith. I was honestly more pumped about my trades since those ace specs did nothing for me 😂

Congrats on those chase pulls! That’s the best feeling when you get them in the beginning so you dont have to overspend on a set. And yeah the Ace Specs are great for trades because they are super valuable in the meta, but not worth having unless you’re doing a master set
