According to Romans 13 the messenger has the ability to make the message a clanging symbol by not having love. Worse than that, the messenger themselves became nothing if they have no love. Doctrine means nothing without love. The gospel has no real effect without love. He just makes people twice as much a child of hell as himself

Ravi is and was a living example of the verse “ the gifts and calling of God is without repentance” No matter how much we may struggle with sin, any sin big or small…the gift is still operational and our calling does not change. He was a great asset to the kingdom of God and also very anointed in his teaching, no doubt about it. He fell prey to the roaring lion who seeks only to kill and destroy. It could be any of us, and most of us don’t have the responsibility and weight of calling that he did. Higher levels bigger devils. Best we don’t judge his hidden life and leave that up to God. It is always sad to see a great man or woman of God fall and I was deeply effected for several weeks once I heard of Ravi’s hidden sin and struggle. I have still been very blessed by his sermons and they have deeply impacted my life as I’m sure they have many others.

I think it's very easy to judge someone like him, he's a rapist and deserves to burn in hell for all eternity. If you listen to Ravis talks he hardly quotes scripture, he tells all these stories all the time.

Why is it that someone can quote only part of a line, say, from “Twas the night before Christmas” without disclosing its title and practically everyone listening can finish the sentence from memory? It’s because they’re so familiar with the storyline. Begging your pardon--to the contrary, if you [listen] to Ravi’s talks-and you’re familiar with Bible scripture, you’ll notice that his lectures are replete with biblical quotes. The way Ravi quotes, or interweaves scripture into his dialogue doesn’t necessarily include chapter and verse. That’s why many miss it. Pick up a copy of “Jesus, among secular gods” by Ravi. It’s full of the very same things you hear at his lectures. Read it carefully and pay attention to it. Scripture is literally hidden in plain sight within its pages.

Yeah, what happened to innocent until proven guilty? I know thats a legal concept, but still a concept that is intrinsically connected to the concept of justice. I guess only our Father knows the whole truth.. Having said that, if he is guilty of what he has been accused of, our creator has provided us with the opportunity to gain forgiveness, through Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross. Aren’t we then left with the necessity of also offering that precious gift of forgiveness that is given so freely?

starting @ time 17:20 he says, "pleasure will always come at a cost. For the good pleasure, you pay for it before you enjoy it; for the wrong pleasure, you pay for after you enjoy it." With the sex scandal involving Ravi, God reminds us that our Lord Jesus Christ was the only one who was able to "walk the talk." Therefore, we must not look up to any human being but to Christ. "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2). We are not condoning Ravi's misconduct but we ought to let the Lord deal with him (which He had probably already done). "He who has no sin, cast the first stone." (John 8:7). We learn from this, and move on with God's grace through HIS Son Jesus Christ and the power of HIS Holy Spirit. Amen!

At the times the people had a misconception that if they always sinned they'd be forgiven and wanted to keep sinning. So it wqs iterated over and over these people who are doing this are sinning grace away. They won't inherit the kingdom.

We cannot really judge Ravi’s actions. Though we won’t also tolerate. But we shouldn’t be as judgemental as we are coz everyone of us sinned againsts God, there is no small and big sins, all are sins. And all are humans, and the same levels. Either you are a preacher, a pastor, works in a music ministry or etc. Someone asked here how can he hide for so long? well, we don’t know! We don’t even know what’s really in his heart, we never know what if it is God who protected him during that time, It is between Him and the Lord. During his sickness also we really don’t know if he repented, I am sure he did. Though not part of it is his true confession to his wife. But we never know. What if the wife knew? She is a wife! A wife has this intuition. And it is between her and ravi. The wife should defend her husband despite of his flaws. And we should realize we are just merely humans. It is by God’s grace we all survived and be faithful in the end serving the Lord Jesus Christ. We need His grace and the Holy Spirit everyday to guide us! 🤍🙏🤍 a great reminder is to FOCUS ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, not in humans, we all just used by the Lord to fulfill His purpose to all His people. Preachers and all other ministers have sinned, have weaknesses and flaws. (All of us) and so we do great things not to glorify ourselves but God who will be glorified! I said this because some preachers and ministers are forgetting and being so proud that they are used by the Lord, they forget they are just God’s instruments to fulfill God’s plan to his people. This is very interesting and concerning. Are we not all Christians? And humans. All man falls to 1 of 3 power, lust, money or a combination. Who are we to cast the first stone? Stating he should have been practical with his preaching? Who are you without sin? Who are any of us? What of the 2x4 in your eye instead of the sliver in his. We are to forgive. These revelations regarding Ravi Zacharias' behavior and conduct are shocking for many people and some still can't believe it. Yes, it's very difficult to comprehend how someone who presented himself as Christian leader and a role model could do such thing and I understand why this is so hard to process. But I've seen a lot of commenters who are starting to come to grips with what he did and are now making excuses for Ravi's behavior (similar to what I've seen happen with other pastors and others held in high esteem) saying that everybody sins and nobody is perfect. While that is true, they're missing the point. Ravi Zacharias held himself up as a person of God, a Christian teacher and leader and a moral authority. He put himself into that position. And he profited off of it, making millions of dollars off of book sales and speaking engagements around the world. But from what this investigation has revealed, he was engaging in reprehensible moral conduct for many years! Complicating matters even more, in this video he had the nerve to talk about temptation and how to overcome it when he himself couldn't overcome temptation. Because of his particular role in the church, he needed to be held to a higher standard, just the same as a judge or any person in authority is expected to live up to the law. What kind of judge sentences people to jail for drunk driving and then repeatedly drives drunk himself? He would be removed from the bench. So of course We expect judges to not only uphold the law, but to follow the law themselves. Likewise, we expect pastors like Ravi Zacharias to not necessarily be perfect or sinless, but to at least not be blatant hypocrites who regularly give in to their sinful desires. Yes, pastors, bishops and others in similar positions need to be held to a higher standard. Honestly, it would have been better if Ravi Zacharias never became a pastor, started a religious organization or went in front of the world to show off his knowledge and get into debates with people he disagreed with, especially atheists. He has brought Christianity into disrepute like has happened so many times throughout the years. What makes this especially aggregious is that he was known as one of the world's foremost apologists for Christianity, but was essentially living a lie. Heck, before he died he was exposed for exaggerating and even lying about some of his academic credentials and his organization had to issue a statement about his "biography," which you can find on the RZIM website. Did he even believe what he taught and preached? It's hard to say but a lot of credibility he brought to the table has gone out the window.

He deliberately and patiently selected targets of his lust by focusing on and exploring vulnerable women and their weakness in order to further bend them to his perverted will. This is a special kind of depravity. For me, the breaking point came when I read the part about how he forced one of his victims to pray thanking God for what had happened to her and that she was his "reward". It is clear that RZ did not fear God, and people who don't fear God are not Christians. Not only did he not fear God, but he mocked God through that "prayer" that he did with the woman. And there is only one place that a non Christian like RZ will end up. It pleases God to see that his lifetime of work and legacy are now in utter ruin, but what will await him in the final judgement will be far, far worse than he could possibly imagine.

Ravi was human like us all and fell into the trap(s) of satan. I can only imagine how busy his mind must have been as he was dying, wishing he could reveal his sin and ask for forgiveness but the shame, his pride and guilt overrode him and he died hoping his secrets wouldn’t be revealed. Yet, now we know, he was like the rest of us needing God, His love and forgiveness. He helped many in his lifetime.

Question: did christ observe the sabbath? Answer: yes he did, he did observe it by doing good work for others. That's good ministry work. Doing good to others on the sabbath is one way to observe the sabbath. Even After christ left, did the Apostle keep the Sabbath? Yes. Because the Sabbath is a command from God. Nobody can ever change that. Ignore or break that commandment, you're a sinner. Ignore that 4th commandment, you break all the other nine. They also gathered on Sunday which is a good thing, it strengthens their relationship with Christ. But if they fail to do that, will that be a sin? No, because that is not a command from god. You can praise god any day, and do good work any day but even if you fail to do that you cant be a sinner. Because that is not part of the law. It's just whether you want to or not. If you don't you didn't break any law so that's not a sin. If you do then it's a good thing. The 10 commandments are God's law, they are one. Break one you break all. You cannot separate one out of the 10 laws. You know that- Killing is still a sin till today, worshipping idols is still a sin till today. In short, to go against the 10 commandments is still a sin today. Because the law is one. You cant pick what to follow and what not to follow. Now, why do you ignore the 4th but agree with the rest of the law?

Ravi continues to be a blessing. Still his preaching and books blesses me and transforms me more and more. I regularly listen to his messages and books. A man who amassed so much of knowledge about the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ and spread it to as many as possible around the world and is still doing. Its a great great loss that God took him away but I think God foresaw what terrible monsters were waiting for him to happily bite on him and tear him apart ruthlessly and torment him to death. God sadly disapointed these ravenous wolves right at the time when their hearts rejoiced that he was caught over his mistakes. They like prowling lions were waiting to shred him apart to pieces and enjoy seeing it happen but God very badly disappointed them all.

Ravi Zacharias must have delivered the message on TEMPTATION in a broken realism of the tempters dangerous debilitating attack on him. This message appears to contain remorseful struggles with the Lord. Indeed, if wishes were horses as it is often wished, I believe there would have been many of us riding to heaven against this attack on us. No doubt, the evil would have taken all the time to take one who we all had come to see as saintly human yet forgetting he is even more vulnerable. Yet he in spite of these horrifying attacks still delivered the message. It is unfortunate that Ravi Zacharias caved in at the expense and much cost to us all. I pray GOD the Most High Sovereign through CHRIST JESUS, the fountain of light to restore what has been broken. We must not forget why CHRIST came and what HE does with broken things. We all need HIS canopy of mercy and forgiveness. We are all limited but only our Saviour is perfect and that is the essence of the CROSS in the gospel of Jesus Christ- the good news. I am sorry for this but the Scriptures assured us nothing should separate us from the love of GOD and so not even this mess.
