SuperDukka let's look at the inconsistencies and see if they are important. Does any specific detail undermine the whole of the doctrine? Example 1: 3 day discrepancy of an arrival of a very minor character Example 2 and 3 : similar to the above in that a number was off on characters in the old testament. Recording error? Uncertain. The overarching story and message remains the same. Example 4 : pretty simple one here. There are 2 items to note. The audience of the gospel. John is written for the Hebrew, the Jew used the lunar calendar so saying light or dark only indicates arrival at the sepulchre. Matthew is written for the Gentile who used a solar calendar. It is dark as the sun first rises. Unlike the first 3 examples, there is no real discrepancy here. Example 5 : like the example above and how time was recorded. The old jewish accounting of time has Him resurrecting on the third day. He died on Good Friday and was raised on Easter Sunday. He died the first day, all of Saturday transpired and Sunday counts for 3 days despite it likely only 48 hours passed. This is like counting the sections of fence or do you count fence posts? It's all perspective and there are valid reasons for each. Example 6 : the building of the temple. Pretty important when the temple is to be rebuilt. I will have to research The Temple Institute website to see which one they are using and why.

So sad... I've seen him pop a few times this week and today is the first day I've clicked it and watched him speak. I spend a lot of time listening to sermons and really like him and the work for God he is doing. Then find out he passed away two days ago... sadly when he was alive I didnt hear him. Because I pushed it off. And it really puts in perspective how important life is, how important it is to listen, how important it is to act when the opportunities arise, and how short life is. I missed him by days. Thankfully in his life he was able to glorify God and is in the kingdom of heaven. A wonderful place to be.

His sins were very grievous, but isn't it the case that through the cross God is able to forgive even the worst? If we understand true repentance means turning to Jesus, and we know Ravi preached Jesus, then there's every chance he was looking to Jesus in his final moments. Think of the criminal on the cross who asked Jesus to remember him. And let's not forget that we are all sinners in need of salvation and who can honestly say that they will bave repented of every sin by the time of their death? If it were like that then it would be salvation by works; whoever is the most repentant. This is not to undermine repentance but to say that true repentance is lookimg to Jesus, looking to the cross.

Why should a Creator God's religion condemn non-believers when in the first place, they claimed their God created the world? So throughout human history stories have been told, some close to the truth than others, about this god. 'Why should a good god....' arguments (4,6,10,15,20). God from the beginning was a god of relationship. He is three persons but one god. Love came first before anything else. The world was created out of this desire for love and relationship. Regarding tithing, most churches here people give online. A church shoud be a family anyway (we are brothers and sisters and God is our Father thanks to Jesus) so a proper church people really wont care how much others give. The Bible (17,18). The Bible doesn't condemn dogs. It does use dogs as an anology but that is not the same thing! The Bible is God's word, but not everything in it is what God wanted to happen. That is the amazing thing about it. Most books about founders of religions leave out the bad stuff. But the Bible shows up people who go wrong again and again. This is to show how much God loves us and how much he has tried to be reconciled with us. He never gives up on us :). But there is truth and not-truth. The modern worldview is that everyone has their own truth. This has led to people in power, and social media, speading all sorts of lies and no one correcting them. I would be happy to havw a chat about this one. We dont have all the answers, if we understood God fully he would not be God, lets face it we dont even understand ourselves :D.

See, this message is so touchingly beautiful, it made me cry too. i have accepted the Lord Jesus in my life but each time i listen to a very great revelation about him from other people, it touches the deepest part of me.

Can’t imagine the level of idolatry here (Ezek 16:17) The fact is: With every applause he got he knew the only reason he was there was because of the Savior, the Son of God. And he exploited it to the hilt. Not an inch transformed in heart because of the Lord. But in every way, by His Name, enriching himself: his uncompromising 'brahminical' roots of feigned superiority, his unbridled narcissism, his cross-border escapades of self-promotion his audience would fail to verify, his vehemently ambitious pursuit of the English language and when all the important names had been dropped and the upward graph of statistics of 'saved-souls' produced, he ensured his namesake ministry and his bank balance would not stop upscaling either. He remained a thorough Hindu at heart and took the Lord's holy Name ONLY in vain. As is typical to them, its all about creating an aura of greatness about themselves, particularly in enforced stillness of silence. Crafty word-play and well-read show of intellectualism apart, wringing people's emotions through a turbo of unrelated tragedies to leave behind a quaint feeling of sustained emotional upheavals - the modus operandi is 'Hindu magic' at its best. Suckers for a 'great man' in their midst, not surprising his Indian audience lapped him up like fish to water. The western Christians on the other hand should have known better, but believing he was one of them took it all in - all seemingly for the sake of the Lord and the advancement of His Kingdom. Or so It would seem. Except for the obvious elephant in the room - the conspicuous absence of the Word of God which clearly he had not let influence his vainglorious heart.

What is happening in the Social Media frenzy world is really sad!! I have personally known Brother Ravi for almost last 50 years!! I have followed him from a small village in India to his meetings in Europe & US!! Its very difficult for me to believe all the allegations against him!! It's Shocking, Sad & very heart breaking. I am not interested in " If Ravi lived a double life or Tripled life!!" What I need to do is stand infront of the Mirror & TAKE A GOOD LOOK At my Own life!! I would say very humbly to all the KZbin Pundits out there.... DONT Worry about Ravi!! Worry about YOURSELF!! Let the dead burry THEIR Dead!! What kind of life you are living??? It would be Really nice to Investigate the so called Investigators!! You cant wash some ones dirty laundry without getting your won hands dirty!! I know there are some people who are having a gala time condemning & criminalizing !! PLEASE Take a good look at yourself first!! Remember that story of a woman caught in adulatory!!.... I was thinking of that very same verse "He who is without sin cast the first stone." God is our final judge. Ravi was a great man of God and you can hear, see and feel it in his teachings. People (fellow sinners) are quick to condemn him. I hope to see Ravi in heaven one day, where we can talk about how we are there because Jesus died on the cross for "our" sins. ✝️ R.I.P.
