I always loved and respected Otis Williams, he reminds me of the strong oak tree with deep roots. smart, intelligent, strong, spiritual and a beautiful human being. Not to mention his wide range of vocals and graceful dance moves. ALL 5 temptations came at you in their own unique way individually and collectively to produce unforgettable harmony’s that made the Temptations the timeless iconic musical group of the century and most likely behind! Thank you Otis Williams, may God watch over you, bless you, and hold you close to his eternal heart.

Yes absolutely! I loved Otis, he’s the glue and strength that kept the temps together. I always picked out his voice along with the other four temptations. All the temps were professionals and well polished. There name has a S ON THE END for a reason! I love them all for their unique individual contributions that made them legendary in the world of music. God Bless Otis Williams, a true iconic talent and gentleman that touched so many people on a global scale.

He never made himself the hero. But history speaks for itself. There are interviews with David, Eddie, and Dennis giving their sides of the story. No one ever said Otis lied about anything. He even exposed his own faults in the book as well

No I would have never went to I'll show up is because it came across as arrogant and the way he puts down certain of the group he talked about Eddie Kendricks he talked about David. I can see why Patti LaBelle broke off the engagement with him. He wanted her to give up singing and what options did he have. But she straighten them out she said I was born to say and I will sing to the end Patty told him I will not put my career on hold for you. I feel like I was blessed and born to sing. I have seen several say negative things about certain ones in the group then another time you will come and say how wonderful the group was. Let him tell the story about The temptations you were thought that he was the one who found them supported them in everything to make them be more popular. He also claimed that he have or still have a group of singers. Because all of the other temptations are dead and he's the only one still alive. Because it was very distasteful l the way he said about being the only one that's one alive and that the other four members was dead . I am confused that he is still popular. I would not go to see him if someone paid me to go. Plus I never seen him song be himself Eddie Kendricks could sing, David ruffin, Paul, and Melvin. Are the only one that I heard song a solo. Other than singing in the background with the group. Sarah I am not impressed with you and I don't know if anyone else is impressed with you, sir take a backseat.✔️

Otis was ruthless but he was the glue that held the Temptations & their legacy together . He might not be a lead singer but again his vocals knitted the Temptations harmonic blend together .

I think you’re very misinformed about Otis. He was given by Berry Gordy rights to the Temptations name in 1967 so he doesn’t come across as arrogant. It was his job to keep the group humbled and not allow the fame to break them. It’s very known that he and Eddie butted heads a lot because Eddie was rebellious and felt Motown was slighting them far as their contracts. He has always been respectful to his past group members and we as fans don’t understand the mental strength it takes to keep going on when your brothers have all passed. Otis is the reason The Temptations are more popular now than the 60s. Also, he was the most versatile member being able to sing first tenor, second tenor and baritone. It’s his voice that blended the other distinctive voices all together. People have always viewed him negatively but fail to realize he’s the reason the group continued even after their main 3 lead singers departed. He’s the one who asked Eddie to be apart of the group with the addition of Paul. He’s the one who had to ask Mama Rose can Melvin sing with them, he’s the one who auditioned David to join and replaced him with Dennis. Paul was the soul, Melvin was the heart but Otis was the rock that kept them together. Yes, brothers fight and have their differences. Here we are 61 years later and The Temptations are still very popular especially amongst the younger generations.
