I so appreciate all your videos. I am a new quilter with no one to help me and unfortunately with the pandemic no quilt shops are teaching new quilters. I would like to thank you for the seemingly endless amount of tips you share on your KZbin videos. The method you use to assemble the pillow covers is pure genius !!! The only thing I did differently was to serge the pieces together instead of sewing a straight line. I’m using this method from now on. I used it already to put two Christmas pillow covers today to give to my step daughter. Thanks again SO much !!

I was always taught to use an insert one size bigger than the cover. Makes it fuller and stops "floppy" unfilled edges.

The pattern is lovely and as always your instructions are perfection! I make a lot of envelope pillow covers, and the only thing I would add is a layer of muslin behind the batting. When you put the pillow inside, the batting can shift with use, so I find that extra muslin helpful to keep things in place. Cheers!
