I’ve been selling these mattresses for a few years now, and I own/sleep on the LuxeAdapt Soft for about a year and a half. Absolutely the best mattresses for side sleepers! Good for back sleepers, especially with an adjustable base which allows you to achieve a “recliner or ‘zero gravity’ feel”. Bonus: Tempur recently released a new line-up of adjustable foundations that include lumbar support, which can be used to lift the hips for stomach sleepers!

@T Sripun thanks SO MUCH for your reply as I was WORRIED that I made a mistake! I ordered a LuxeAdapt Soft (switching from a Medium Hybrid), it hasn’t come yet, and some people are saying it isn’t good for back sleepers! That it can hurt you if you sleep on your back! I’m primarily a back sleeper and weigh 145 pounds (am 5’ 4 1/2”, so am close to your weight and height). I’m losing weight and will likely return to my weight of about 135 (I had gained weight). Did it take long for it to get soft? Like is it hard when it arrives?
@tsripun2 жыл бұрын
@@MegaFirstclass it wasn't that firm when it arrived, you sink into the softness once you lay on it but to help the break in period, ppl say to walk on it to loosen it some. Hope it works out for you!!

Tri Sipun (cool name!), thanks again for all the wonderful info!! I’m worried now because someone just told me that the LuxeAdapt felt like a rock to him after sinking in (that the soft layers sink you right to the base!). After 2 months he couldn’t take it anymore and sold it for 1/2 the price and is now a proud owner of the LuxeBreeze Soft! Wow!!! But I thought the LuxeBreeze was supposed to be firmer!!! Maybe he weighs more than us and thus sinks down right to the hard layer?? Or maybe he just didn’t keep it long enough as it takes some more than 2 months to break in?? I want a SOFT bed, not a firm one!! One that isn’t JUST soft in the outer laters! If what he said is right then I should keep my medium hybrid as it FINALLY no longer hurts! I just think it’s a tad too firm. Maybe the uniform layer of mine though would make it feel softer than the LuxeAdapt Soft (as it also has Tempur ES?) than the LuxeAdapt Soft?? Does the Luxe EVER feel too firm for you?? On your back or side??

I’ve had the luxebreeze for 3 weeks, and it was comfy from day one, didn’t come hard as a board, and I definitely don’t feel that it retains the heat like the other Matress. We’ve had the soft for about 5 days now. It definitely feels so much different than it did in the store, it’s much softer and not so much of that Tempur Pedic feel like it had in the store. Idk if it’s the temperature of our house/warmer being in a smaller space than being in a big wide open space/colder. We haven’t given it long enough to actually feel if it’s going to be good or not. I’m a left side sleeper and the first 3 nights was great, but now I’m starting to get hip pain/pressure and lower back pain in the same spot as our warranty claim Adapt Hybrid Medium. I’m a bit nervous because when you have a warranty claim with Tempur Pedic you don’t get that 90 day return period, you’re basically stuck with what you get. It upsets me because we spent a lot of time in the bed store on this mattress to make sure this was the right mattress for us and it was, but like I said the feel from the bed store mattress and our mattress is night and day almost like we have the wrong mattress. I would really like to hear your opinion about your mattress after a week of having it. 👍🏻👍🏻

Debbie, I heard the LuxeBreeze Soft feels like a medium. Some exchange the LuxeAdapt Soft for a LuxeBreeze for that reason. Does the soft Tempur-LuxeAdapt keep your spine in a good, neutral alignment when you're on your back? You mention when you're on your back on this mattress that you sink in and the mattress contours around your body, that sounds like that would be good for keeping your spine supported where it needs to be and keeping it in neutral alignment. Is that right or is contouring and sinking into the mattress not good for spinal support and neutral spinal alignment?
@deeptadhami4 жыл бұрын
Colin Holdgrafer That is my question too. One would think that sinking locally at hips or while on your back would mean less spinal support and not more. Would love to have it clarified.
