The t-pins are not usually for fabric use. They are mostly used for blocking to size finished home knitted garments, which is why they are blunt.

Ok, that makes a lot of sense. I had seen another KZbinr doing a hoop tutorial use them instead of hoop clips. I don't know how she did it but it worked for her.

Also used to hold macrame projects to knotting board. Did a lot of that in the 70s & 80s. Mostly belts & jewelry. Didn't have the patience or money for plant hangers, curtains, wall art, or room dividers.

Make sure you read the product descriptions...you can search for whatever you want, but the search results may not match exactly. You can't be too disappointed if you just assumed...i learned that lesson myself lol.
@wildflowerwind69417 ай бұрын
Did you read the description on the item for the size of the stips before ordering? Just cause you do a search for 40" doesn't mean all the items that pull up on the search are exactly that size.
@jenniferssewingandcreativity7 ай бұрын
Yes, I did do a search. That is why I purchased them but I didn't get what I ordered. That is the reason why I tried them to see if I would get what the description said and it wasn't. I now work with TEMU as a reviewer on products and test them to see if they are worth it and give my opinions on a first impression. Please check out my latest videos

I thought of doing that, piecing the fabric together for a lanyard I'm going to check and make at least one and see what it turns out like. Luna is such a goofy girl. I absolutely love that she is so inquisitive, it definitely keeps us on our toes and gives us a good laugh.

i use the measuring gauge for spacing the rows when making no sew ornaments. works great, had it for years now.

T pins are not made for use sewing fabrics. They are used wmto hold wigs on forms, and are used in flower arranging...thats why they are not extremely sharp. There are pins made as long as you need for embroidery that are truly made for sewing.

Sew the same color short strips together to make longer strips so you can make your lanyards

@jenniferssewingandcreativity awwww sorry to know that. Well, you could sew a wall quilt using half triangles sewn together. Might be pretty and good to sell.

Are the fancy temu sewing attachments usable on domestic sewing machines. You kind advice will be appreciated .
@Willow_Thorn73 ай бұрын
It really depends on the type of shank your machine is. If it's a low shank or high shank. Also the type of connection is important, whether it just clips on or you have to push the back of the foot connector to snap it on.My advice for the shank of your machine is to search your manual and if you can't find it Google low shank and high shank measurements. My machines are all low shank.

Some bags and glues are made from animal byproducts which is probably what is attracting your cat. I used to have a cat who would chew and eat every bag corner in sight.
@jenniferssewingandcreativity7 ай бұрын
I've heard about that recently from a lady at a local Quilt shop. She said some of the adhesives are made with a fish by-product and that was what could be attracting cats. Makes sense if it is

Major fabric companies (Moda, Benartex, etc), sell jelly rolls that are 40 to 42 strips by with of fabric. Usually run between $40-50+...

That would be a pretty accurate description of their fabric. It is supposed to be like quilting cotton but feels more like a cheap nylon type of fabric. It's okay for making key fobs or lanyards but not much else
