Same sort of driving test experience for me also. Waaay back in the 90s. Make a load of left turns, one right and one roundabout. U turn and slow speed stuff. Done, passed. Bit stressy

My 1050DE stock seat was so bad that I sold the bike after 2,000 miles. Loved the drivetrain and simple tech. But couldn't get over the top heavy-ness and horrendous seat for long trips. I couldn't find a great solution even with custom seat makers, so I went back to my R1200GS.

I like your top box which is very similar to the OEM one from Suzuki, but much much better value. It's also lined while the Suzuki one is bare metal. Fortunately they were doing a freebie deal on panniers and top box when I got my 1050 so no complaints 😁 Hope the seat replacement works out for you. I've just ditched the Amazon purchased air seat as it didn't make enough of a difference and fitted a much dearer one from AirHawk that supposedly has some void ares for ones gentleman's bits and pieces to avoid some pressure points. Fingers crossed it makes enough of a difference. I love everything else about the bike , but the seat has been such a huge pain/disappointment that I'm already looking around at other bikes.

I'm so happy with the top box, it's made it so much more practical. The new seat has made a difference, so far so good.
