"Why sometimes there's an animation and sometimes there isn't" - MTGA has an internal turn timer. If it reaches the limit, it tries to use fast animations or no animations whenever possible. I've seen it a lot in big combo decks in Historic, but not often in Standard. It's also, like many things in MTGA, a bit buggy.

Gotta be honest here; Trostani was right. Most of the guilds have betrayed Ravnica in one way or another. It shows how laughably weak the Guildpact is, that they keep nearly destroying the plane in these poorly-conceived grabs for dominance, and then suffering no consequences for it when they fail. The icing on the cake is that after Oba is defeated, she *can't be arrested,* even though she literally *murdered* multiple guild leaders. It takes a private lawsuit from the Orzhov to inflict a *monetary* punishment on Selesnya as a whole. Oba is still in power, barely demoted below the other two Trostani sisters, and still capable of trying again. And really, why wouldn't she? There's no reason not to, apparently.

The 3 year rotation thing is proving to be rendering super fun decks with cards that had never been used in the previous two years. For example, the 1G spirit in the insidious roots deck.

23:09 Why take the explosion over the Burn down? Burn down costs less, saves the iteration, and deals with Elspeth?! Also you dont end up discarding all your spells for a hand full of land.

Doppelgang is RIDICULOUS. the moment I saw it I preordered a foil ext. art. The first game I played my Niv Mizzet Supreme commander deck I Galvanic'd an instance of it where X=3 and made 6 copies of Zendikar Resurgent, 6 copies of my Command Tower, and 6 copies of Reflecting Pool. Did the math for how much that taps for? I flashed the Galvanic back and jumpstarted it from the graveyard with all that mana to make that many more copies of Zendikar Resurgent, copied my opponent's boards like 18 times over, LOL

I love worldsoul's rage! Definitely my favorite card from the set so far. I run it in a Naya list built around Virtue of Strength with ramp from tortoise/stomper/shigeki, a few wraths to stabilize, and a few other X spells for payoffs (white sun's twilight, awaken the woods) and it actually performs really well for a deck built around a jank card

Did a tamer version of this a while back using Mindsplice plus Galvanic Iteration / Light Up the Night. I ran into a lifegain gamer once and had to deal 36 at once or die. Won that one. But all in all, the deck was a bit too clunky and not really reliable enough.

I finally got around to crafting this. It's really fun when you can get it to work. For my first few tries, I was never drawing one of the 29! lands or always the wrong color. In my last game I won after drawing my final Rage that was at the bottom of my deck.
