Thank again Chris for featuring and sharing the deepest secret of our Disneyland Paris 🇫🇷 💙💚. Really appreciate that. Love your vlogs. Love your pun jokes and positive energy The Sleeping beauty castle is also inspired the Mont Saint Michel in Normandy. The Frontierland is indeed the most popular land cuz of it’s history, the Whole land "Thunder Mesa" is connected to Phantom Manor’s story. The French narration is spookier than the English one. Refurbished back before 2019. That song is called "J'en ai rêve" (Once upon a Dream/). Played whenever Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip danced together. 💖💙 On top of the castle, really up there, you'll see that symbol ⚜️ (golden lilly flower). It represents the Old Regim of France, "the Kindom of France/The French Monarchy" When our French ancestors used to have Kings and Queens. Didn't know DLP used to called Euro DisneyLand 7:11. Good catch, but that hidden mickey is too small and hard to be seen 10:40 😆 I you look closely, the Phantom (Henry Ravenswood) is indeed in the background 10:47 standing behind her daughter Melanie (kinda disturbing) Wow no way never knew there’s a Picture of Walt Disney as a baby 11:05 🤯 I see the silhouette of Thunder Mountain 11:44👍👀 Baby dont mind me 🤣 16:21

The history is why Disney is Disney. Thanks again, Chris. Great job! And by the way, when you showed us the merch in the first video, I knew you would select those slacks for Amanda. Omg fab vlog Chris! Super great DLP guides/friends with you too, what truly & utterly lovely people. Only sad thing was seeing that there used to be a bookstore for kids, now taken over by merch. My heart… I don’t mind merch! I’d probably need a suitcase too (thx for the tip, I’ll bring an empty one…) but the changes over the years to more basic merch from “real” stuff is super sad. I get it, still sad tho. Would have loved to see Tigger stamping books! Clearly DLP has very cool stuff and some amazing “real” things still, like the maze you’ve shown before. I’d love to visit one day 😀

Oh Wow Chris, absolutly love seeing you enjoy yourselves and appreciating the "finesse" of the Paris park. Come back to see "Les rythmes de la terre"... it's an INCREDIBLE touching Lion King show with Broadway like proportions. My husband sings the Scar part... and it's sooooo gooood" It never fails getting me all choked up and it's been running for two years now, because of it's massive succes. Disneyland Paris really came through on this one.

Also, the only Haunted Mansion built in the FRENCH 2nd Empire style. Synonymous with Victorian mansions of the era, the mansion is in the same style as The Psycho House. Although by ostentation, the owners here had much more money. The best film example of a similar facade is from the movie GIANT (1956), which also takes place in the Wild West.

My favourite Disney secret about Disney land Paris is the golden turrets on the left hand side of the castle, if you look closely the “bumps” on the golden turret are actually little golden snails that are escaping from the castle kitchen because in France they eat “escargot” which are snails. I thought that was really cool 👍🏻

okay, so in regards to the color scheme between the three fairies and Merlin ,that makes 100% sense because of the fact that underneath Sleeping Beauty's castle is a cave and inside this cave is a dragon, I think it's the world's largest animatronic display oh, but she is big!! you can see next of the Dragon there is an egg and supposedly that dragon is Merlin's dragon and he has to protect that egg

We were eating a late lunch at Woody's lunch box and I over heard to guys talking about the ice in their drinks, turns out they were cast members on day off and they could tell how busy the park was because they were still using original ice from machine at the food location and not a different style brought over from a different location. Both were very nice guys and answered many silly questions.

Another thing is, I've heard that the French like Star Tours quite a bit, which I didn't believe at first because its so random but apparently they kept the original 87 ride there until 2016, and there's a French Star Tours fan film coming out soon so now I'm not so sure. What an amazing park
@PixelsLtd2 жыл бұрын
Yes we were super proud that we had the last remaining version of the original Star Tours, many, myself included were devastated when it finally ended its run. Not just Europeans either we had plenty of American Star Wars fans regularly come as a pilgrimage to experience it again! One of the main reasons so many Star Wars fans loved it is It showed the original 1987 Star Tours film made by George Lucas with real practical effects and models (rather than the CGI of the new version) being that since the 90s Lucas has been going back through his old films and replacing all the old models and puppets with CGI, Star Tours was the last remaining way to see original Lucasfilm models on a big screen. Also of course because of Captain Rex being an integral part, a beloved character that so many people missed... although its wonderful that he now has been brought back as he is featured in Galaxy's Edge 😀
@noahmartinez50022 жыл бұрын
@@PixelsLtd Yeah, I'm quite a big fan of the original but I also like the 2011 one, I even made a video about it because the 87 one was just so good I felt like I had to. I wish they had gone with an idea circa 2008 idea of a different ride film at each park. I think it works better to go practical for original trilogy ride parts and CGI for the prequels. If Im not mistaken its considered the most complex film ILM ever pulled off, since it has to look like one take. Disney certainly has a bunch of Rex animatronics the world over so hopefully they bring it back at least for a little while sometime, like Soarin and Soarin Over California
