Who's knows what would have happened, but Arne had far less resources and was joint top. There rivalry in Holland though brief, was much like Klopp vs Pep in the Prem. He then moved clubs and won the league with Feyenoord. He will have a better squad next season than Ten, so let us see what happens, it may take Arne time to settle, it may not.

This is quite imbecilic. Ten Hag and Slot were in the Eredivisie together 1 season. Ten Hag's Ajax won the Eredivisie, Slot's Feyenord came 3rd. Slot's only title (just 1 league win!!) came after Ten Hag left for Man United. Ergo, Slot stepped out of Ten Hag's shadow only after he rode off into the sunset.
